  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi amadeus2, thank you for adding, thats an interesting one too, sheesh that one could only make me ask, how many beasts do we have in one man? Know what I mean?^_^

As you can probrobly tell, I havent studied this much yet (lol)

God bless you

Are the unclean spirits of these following verses beasts?

"For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many." Mark 5:8-9

Also what of these verses?

"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation." Matt 12:43-45

Heres a reference to the unclean spirit which passes out of the land

Zech 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

If an unclean spirit goes out of a man (likened to a wicked generation) He speaks of seven more wicked then itself entering back in, which is sorta kool because theres eight here

2Cr 10:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

Which could ressemble a cage full of hateful birds.

Sorta ressembles this in a way too (by way of a dwelling place, cage, or habitation)

Rev 18:2And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become ***the habitation*** of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

The cup of the Lord is blessing

1Cr 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

Jerm 5:27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.

Birds and deceit, but speaks of "laying up" deceit within oneself

Prov 26:24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;

Prov 18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Heres two examples of being "filled"

Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

And/Or

Phil 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

But I cant say for sure beasts, I pretty much just compare verses . Cant say either way myself.

God bless you

And we are to inherit that land. Give God the glory! And the land is me! The land is you! We are stewards of that land, but if we are meek unto the end of our course as stewards

Herein, that is within me or within you, when we have these assorted beasts indwelling, is confusion. God is definitely NOT the author of confusion!

We should rather become a dwelling place for the Lord. That is certainly His desire and should also, I believe, be ours! Babylon in out of us or in us will fall. When it does, if we have nothing left, then we no longer exist in the eyes of God.

The cup of the Lord is blessing

"And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting." Acts 2:2

What house are we sitting in?

Im glad, because I really didnt understand what you were saying, but hey, just toss me into the camp who are not, because most of the time that tends to be where you land when you dont understand someone anyway ^_^

Well (I mean) thats fairly typical in my experience, so I do sorta play along with it now (lol).

Certainly not the best way to handle things but when your tired it makes so much sense (the irrational becomes rational)

I gotta stop that.

God bless you

"Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be." James 3:10

James was not speaking to unbelievers, but to "brethren".

He was was saying it "ought not so to be", but IT IS!

The same holds for most, if not all of us, today who follow Christ. This is why Jesus warns us to take care of the "beam" in our own eye before proceeding to assist a brother with his "mote".

Ofcourse that ought not be, which is why I shared the verses of being filled with the fruit of out lips

Psalm 109:18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

I know this is speaking of Judas whose bowels gushed out, but nevertheless those things ought not be for us. Its what comes out of the mouth that defiles the man. Sorta like what comes out (enters in) thus filled.

Sounds like nigh to the cursing if you ask me.

Bless, curse not (makes sense to me)

God bless you
