Is this the only internship program NASCAR offers?

Also, where in this list of requirements for this particular program does it say you must not be "white or Caucasian"?It doesn't seem to mention race or ethnicity at all.

EDIT: So, it does look like that requirement was removed recently. It's uncertain if it still is a requirement but just isn't listed. However, my original question stands: Is this the only internship program that NASCAR offers? If not, I don't see an issue.

Besides, if a baker or web site "designer" can deny service to a protected minority group why can't a business choose whom they wish to offer internships to based on their minority status as well?

Nascar is not a political party. It has always been a good old boy racing league throughout its 64 year history. To claim the organization discriminates against white folks is laughable. They collectively do not want minorities alienating their fan base. Some things in America will never be inclusive for all citizens. Nascar is certainly one of them. This is merely another attempt to show they "tried" to broaden their fan base by encouraging minorities to race.

Even those who aren't racing fans can get upset with this anger and fear mongering about the poor white man being a victim of discrimination. Completely ridiculous. You think folks are upset about this, but the loss of income from actually diversifying the sport would be catastrophic for Nascar and International Speedway Corporation. They've done a bang up job of alienating fans during Brian's tenure anyhow. They kept him on far too long simply because of his last name being France. Their product is not racing, it is now manufactured entertainment. Without Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon Nascar has returned to obscurity. Maybe minorities can be successful in Nascar in future generations, time will tell.

I'm impressed with Bubba Wallace to be honest. I went to nearly ten Talladega races in a row. I have seen the nooses on the garage doors. This guy has fortitude and finally made the playoffs this season. Bless his persistent heart.

Neither party is for racism .... the definition of racism is mostly used subjectively.

Racism certainly does exist on individual and small group levels .... but the word racism is being misused/applied to many things that have nothing to do with it.

The word racism is often invoked to pit people against one another and for votes on the political level.

Overall ... I believe the American citizens have largely moved away from racism ... it is politics that use it in an effort to satisfy/promote their political ideologies. Divide and conquer.

I have my doubts. The left teaches minorites a dangerous combination of how we're always bringing them down and that self reflection and growth is only something white (especially men) have to do. I'd be a little wary being a white person a few generations on.

The only thing liberals have given blacks are an increased chance to be a victim of crime and a free pass to be racist against white people.
