Shoshin now had an advantage, he used a jutsu that tied her up with chakra strings. He used another jutsu to stop her mouth from moving. Then he said, "Orochimaru is... anxious to see you Yaru." he made two chakra straps and carried Bijin like a backpack as he made his getaway. Rennic saw that Bijin was gone! He looked where she had been and saw Shoshin's red jewel he always carried with him and footprints. He realized there was struggling, and some footprints were Shoshin's size.

'Did... Did Shoshin... kidnap Bijinyaru?' he wondered with shock as he picked up the red jewel and put it in his pocket. "GUYS! I THINK SOMETHIG HAPPENED HERE! BIJIN"S GONE!" he quickly explained everything that had happened and heard something... a branch break. Shoshin almost fell on the ground when a branch broke under his feet.

Bijin was kicking and struggling making it hard for Shoshin to get away. She tried everyway she could to make noise to alert her companions something was up. OROCHIMARU!!! Bijin was terrified and her terror lent her strength.

Shoshin tightened the chakra strings, he wasn't very good with chakra strings but it was enough.

"QUICKLY!" Rennic yelled to the others as he jumped from branch to branch. Kakashi and Genma followed.

The chakra strings tightened until she was finding it hard to breathe. 'Orochimaru! Oh no... please no...I hate that wicked beast! Wait... that voice...it's...familiar.' Bijin tried to turn her head and saw long black hair. 'SHOSHIN?! Taking me to Orochimaru?' Bijin was almost senseless with fear and confusion. She tried to scream but couldn't do much but rumble.

Shoshin kept running. He jumped from branch to branch before he stopped and put exploding tags everywhere, and then a trap of kunai knives. Then he realized he'd wasted to much time and jumped from branch to branch. Rennic saw Shoshin and Bijin and knew his theory was true. He ran ahead of the others as Shoshin set the exploding tags off. Rennic dodged them but was hit with a couple of kunai knives and felll on the ground. Genma was hit with five and he fell on the ground. kakashi dodged the rest and stopped to help Rennic and Genma. shikamaru tried to capture Shoshin with his Shadow jutsu, but he failed. Kakashi hlped get Genma bandaged. Then Rennic. ANBU arrived.

"Take Genma back, Rennic says the kunai knives didn't hit him very badly." Kakashi said. One of the ANBU was a healer and healed Rennic's wounds. Kakashi wrote a note and told them to take it to Tsunade-sama.
Then they set off again. Shoshin was ahead of them. It was getting dark and the moon was not out. Shoshin used a jutsu that made it so Kakashi's sharingan eye would not help him see in the dark, if it could.

Kakashi knew they had to stop. "We have no choice but to stop or we'll get ourselves killed..." Kakashi said. Shoshin stopped. he used another jutsu to made a ground shell like Gaara's. He shut the door of the dirt room and went to sleep, though the chakra strings still held Bijin so she couldn't move or scream.

Bijin thought about Shikamaru, Alex and even Horror. Orochimaru must not get any of them... Words could not describe how much she hated the 'snake boy'. If Shoshin took her to him it meant he would use her to harm people like Shikamaru, Alex, Horror, Kakashi and Genma... she could not let him do it... she would have to find a way to remove the threat of him using her. Bijin wondered if her healing jutsu could be reversed?

Shoshin was sound asleep.
Rennic had an idea, but he had to work it out first.

Bijin awoke from a nightmare. The nightmare replayed a memory she had buried very deep. She wanted to scream but couldn't and the tears came. She trembled in the darkness as Kabuto's threat still echoed in her mind. If she closed her eyes Kabuto's wicked smiling face would be there. Bijin realized she never wanted to reach wherever it was Shoshin was taking her. She made up her mind to die instead she simply wasn't sure what she could do to make it happen. Such was the terror she quaked with.

As soon as the sun started to rise Shoshin woke up and he started off with Bijin still like a "backpack". Orochimaru had told him that he'd be in Harlo Ruins in the wind country, so that's where Shoshin was heading. It would take at least five days without being chased, but he was being chased so he didn't know when he'd get there, but he knew he'd have to trick Bijin into singing for him to give him chakra.

Bijin began to wonder how she could carry out her plan. Her heart was heavy.

Shoshin stopped and ducked into a cave. He put Bijin down and released her mouthhold. "Whew Bijin... We made it... that was hard acting like i was working for Orochimaru..." he said. It was all part of Shoshin's plan to make her give him chakra. He fell against the cave wall, pretending to be weak. "Bijin... sing! I need chakra to release you!" he gasped a fake gasp, but it looked real enough. 'C'mon sing Yaru! SING! I need chakra to make it to Orochimaru!' he thought while gasping.

Bijin was confused for a moment but then she thought of Kabuto and Orochimaru and knew this could be a ruse. She did not answer but searched with her eyes all of Shoshin's weapons.

"Shoshin why did you do this? Let me go." Bijin said softly. If he cut her loose maybe she could trust him but if not... she knew he was trying to trick her.

 

[Quantum X]

Shoshin stopped acting. "Ehhhhhh... Seems you're smarter than you look Yaru..." Shoshin smiled evilly, still holding her with the chakra strings. He knew the rock Orochimaru gave him to help him catch Bijin was running out of chakra. 'Without that rock supporting me i won't be able to use any jutsus except the ones i already had and the chakra strings...' Shoshin thought.

 

[cyberwing]

Bijin looked at Shoshin sadly, "Shoshin...it's me Bijin...please don't do this...Orochimaru will not help you find Rei's killers. He doesn't care...he might even have been the one who SENT them." She stared at him a moment then screamed as loudly as she could.

 

[Quantum X]

Shoshin released the jutsu for the hiding spot and quickly covered her mouth with real rope and tied her up with real rope, he then let go of the chakra strings. He put her on like a back pack again and started off, though he could see Kakashi and Alex with Horror, Shikamaru and a leaf ninja about twenty feet behind him.

Shoshin tripped on a tree branch and fell flat on his face. They were out in some plains. Kakashi, Shikamaru and the others caught up and surrounded Shoshin. "SHOSHIN WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!?" Kakashi damanded. "None of your buisiness! REDORI!" Shoshin struck at Kakashi with Redori and Kakshi countered the blow with his chidori. Kakashi swung at Shoshin and he dodged the blow. Shoshin truck at Kakashi. Shoshin used Shadow clone jutsu. One of his clones attacked Kakashi and knocked him out. Rennic swung at Shoshin, Shoshin jumped into the air. "You call that redori?!? That's not the real redori! That's the cheap copy!" Rennic gathered red lightning in his hands and two energy daggers appeared to come out of his hands. "THIS IS REDORI!" Rennic struck at Shoshin and hit him on his shoulder, Shoshin dodged the rest and swung his leg at Rennic. Rennic was hit in the side of his head and his ear started to bleed, and he was knocked unconsious. Shoshin saw the red jewel Rennic was holding and gasped. He grabbed it and jumped on top of a tree.

Shikamaru had been attempting to use his shadow to seize hold of Bijin. Her eyes were wide with fear but she watched Shikamaru as he attempted to dodge in and cut the ropes holding Bijin prisoner. Rennic's redori struck at that moment though and and Shikamaru missed.

 

[Quantum X]

Shoshin hit Shikamaru as hard as he could and picked him up by his shirt. He threw Shikamaru at a tree. Shoshin knew he had to keep running. He ran.

Shikamaru looked after Shoshin and rubbed his hand across his bloody lip. He glared after him.

OOC note: these are the jutsus Shoshin knew when he was good: flaming Dragon jutsu, clone jutsu, substitution jutsu, jyurken, byakugan.

"Water style! Hidden mist jutsu!" mist came over the plains and made it so Shoshin could make it to one of Orochimaru's old hideouts that was abandoned. He set Bijin down inside it and looked at the jewel. Tears threatened to come to his eyes but they were replaced with hate.

Bijin struggled trying to get free. She couldn't let Shoshin take her to the snake... she couldn't...she would not forget what Kabuto had said either. Bijin's wrists were bleeding from all the time she had been struggling against the ropes. The blood finally helped her slip out one hand! She was careful not to let Shoshin see her move. She kept her hand in place where it had been whenever he was nearby.
