I read all the manga before I watched the anime but I still love both. I get the manga from the above mentioned site and can't wait till Friday when i can read it. Oh and my favorite is Uchiha Sasuke.

I love Naruto. It is the best Anime I have ever seen. I don't read the manga though just watch the shows. My favorite characters are probably Naruto, Rock lee, and hinata. Everyone likes sasuke but he is too cocky for Me. Anyways I hate it because I have to wait once a week for the episodes and it is killing me. Oh well it is well worth it!

No. It was always illegal. It is as illegal to distribute unlicensed manga or anime as it is licensed material. That being said, distributors are the ones who prosecute you, which makes it essentially risk-free to distribute unliscensed manga and anime. So it's a crime that you'll never be penalized for.
