  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know exactly how you feel!! I didn't laugh either and everyone else says it's funny!! It is not a funny movie! IMO!!:help:

I thought it was hilarious! It will be a classic. I think the younger posters did not like it because they have not been to high school and met characters similar to these dudes. I think you have to be at least a young adult to relate to the characters in this movie. I think I will rent it again tonight and laugh my head off! :D :idea:

Did anyone see SNL last night with John Heder. It was so funny..the opening thingy the were talking about how Napoleon Dynamite was not about real people, there was a guy in the audience named Leopold Samsonite that was dressed JUST like Napoleon..it was funny!!!!

yeah, i saw it. i thought the best skit was when they were supposed to be in fourth grade doing the science fair.
