Woohoo, Owl! Congrats! I'll be joining you in... I think like 12,000 more words. My story definitely won't be finished by then either. So I'll have to set me another goal probably in December to continue at this pace.

But after I make today's word count, I would have bypassed my old novel which took me a year to get this far!!! It's like.... awesome that I got this far in less than a MONTH!

Hehe....I kind of lost interest (bad mochagirl *slaps hand*), and haven't written in a while...alas....I've made it to almost 19,000 words, though....
My problem was my plot wasn't the smartest choice for me. It was a contemporary setting, focused on teenagers, and I should have known that wouldn't have held my attention long. Oh, well. Perhaps next year, since there's no way I'm writing 31,000 words in a week.

My entire novel will probably be more than half of that though. It might reach around 120k... maybe. lol, I think I held off on so much of the action because I didn't want to run out of plot, but now... well, I can hurry it along now. I'm on chapter 20-something and nothing TOO exciting really happened. Well, when I get to editing, these chapters can be meant for really getting into the minds of the characters. I didn't do that well of a job with the development of some of the characters. Mainly Rex, Michael, Veronica, and Shawn has the greatest development. Even William and Kate have okay development. It's Dedra, Ryan, Joseph, and Danny who need the work.

Oh... heh. Shawn..... First time I ever used my name (spelt like my name) in one of my stories... that I can remember. haha. He's nothing like me... well, except we have the same skin color
