chocolate gravy ( I grew up on it )

I never heard of it until a about a year ago when my youth leader (who is from Arakansas) told me a story about how a couple of people in the church asked her to bring some to a potluck, and one of the ladies (who asked her to bring it) husband said, "what the heck is this?" and my youth leader said, "Chocolate gravy" and he didn't know she brought it and he said, "Who would bring that?! That's disgusting!" and his wife was like, "Shut up!"
Now I'm really curious to try it!
