No, because he is born from all eternity. Why does this keep getting overlooked? It's been stated before. To suggest the Son was born of the Father implies that the Son is a created being of the Father and not God. This is a grave heresy adopted by cults.
Because being born implies a finite beginning. Meaning at some point the Son never existed. No, because he is born from all eternity. Why does this keep getting overlooked? It's been stated before.

He was!Isn't this 'localizing' the Divine person? Why can't he be on earth and in the bosom of the Father, at the same time?
Agreed. To suggest the Son was born of the Father implies that the Son is a created being of the Father and not God. This is a grave heresy adopted by cults.
Agreed.
And this is why I agree with the translation of UNIQUE from the Greek, instead of the translation BORN.
How some theologians agree with BORN I do not understand.
The 2nd person and the Holy Spirit always existed or there's a problem with the Trinity and all those councils count for nothing.
Sure. But you won't find anywhere in the Bible which specifically states anything about a "Trinity". The Bible only says that:Isn't this Arius's argument -That born/begotten implies beginning?
Definition of BIRTH
It depends on who is birthing/begetting. If it is God eternal, then what he begets is eternal. Father and Son are of one essence.
Sure. But you won't find anywhere in the Bible which specifically states anything about a "Trinity". The Bible only says that:
1. There is only one God.
2. The Father is God.
3. The Son is God and the Son of God.
4. The Holy Spirit is God.
5. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are separate and distinct from each other.
The Doctrine of the Holy Trinity was an invention created by man to reconcile the mystery of these Biblical truths. But nowhere in the Bible does it specifically state anything about a " Trinity" or a "Triune God".
I read a doctrine in an orthodox document saying the church is the vine, where the bible says Jesus is.(For the anti-Sola Scriptura crowd).
Name one doctrine that was held by the Chalcedon affirming Church that is not supported in Scripture.
I contend that one doesn't exist.
As a lead into Chaceldon amd the earlier council in Ephasus, I have a question.
Many people on this forum refuse to call Mary "The Mother of God". What say you? Is Mary the "Mother of God"?
Ok, Nestorius.Mary is the mother of Jesus.
God has no mommy.
That’s why there’s not one scripture calling Mary other than the mother of Jesus.

Replacement doctrines like that are a general problem.
I wonder if the Holy Spirit is fickle. Evidently, the HS is inspiring some SS denominations to teach their members to interpret scripture to say that Mary is the Mother of God and denominations He is inspiring them to teach their members to interpret scripture to say she is not.
Answer: The Holy Spirit is not fickle. This is proof that SS fails at the most basic level.
Nope. Are you even paying attention to what is going on? I along with others have provided the most Biblical support. The Nestorians here have been corrected over and over again. That Mary is not the mother of God because God cannot have a mother and Scripture doesn't call her Theotokos, is an old trope and just proves people's ignorance of Scripture. Chunks of verses from the Old and New Testaments would have to be removed.

Answer: The Holy Spirit is not fickle. This is the perfect example and proof that SS fails at the most basic level.
I googled it again, and found that what I recalled responding to many years ago was worded poorly. Nowadays a distinction between vine and vineyard is now made in the articles I could bring up.A doctrine? Where?
Explain this please:He was!
