And this is why I agree with the translation of UNIQUE from the Greek, instead of the translation BORN.
How some theologians agree with BORN I do not understand.

I read a doctrine in an orthodox document saying the church is the vine, where the bible says Jesus is.(For the anti-Sola Scriptura crowd).
Name one doctrine that was held by the Chalcedon affirming Church that is not supported in Scripture.
I contend that one doesn't exist.

Nope. Are you even paying attention to what is going on? I along with others have provided the most Biblical support. The Nestorians here have been corrected over and over again. That Mary is not the mother of God because God cannot have a mother and Scripture doesn't call her Theotokos, is an old trope and just proves people's ignorance of Scripture. Chunks of verses from the Old and New Testaments would have to be removed.
