• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If I tell you why I changed my name....
I'll have to kill yoooouu......

Okay that line is so corny. The truth is I'm a spy.

Where do you live? I have to ki---cook for you now.

ETA: The real reason I changed my name is because Brikkz is a screen name I had when I was a preteen. Rlunatic is a silly play on my real first and last name so I changed it.

I forgot to add the story behind Brikkz. I was an internet trobule maker (Such a loser) I didn't want people online figuring out if I was a girl, a guy, or something in between so I came up with Brikkz (Don't know why) and would go into chatrooms (especially fan based ones like Hanson Lovers or Nsyncs Girls or some silly stuff like that.) and start trouble. Yeah I was one of those people.

Anyway Brikkz was totally anonymous, annoying, and gender neutral. Then I also met my husband under that name so it brought some good somewhere. He kicked me out of his room when we first met, we had a PM argument and he let me back in because I made him laugh. 4 years later we started dating. So Brikkz has been a good memory/bad memory screen name but I still love it.

I am so not interesting at all, huh? Loser-ville here I come. Oh wait I live there already.
I'm actually now considered a Kenmoron and anyone can see the truth shining through about that in these last few posts.

Some other user names he had in chatrooms before I met him were:
Little Brat, Goota, HitzJamz21,logging_on, and Mr. Macro, ASDFOM, . None are in use these days. He doesn't get online except on Runescape or MIRC and he doesn't use those screen names anymore.

He does not log on here but he did have a "strange" username because no one understood "Forgotten Memory" and "Dark Memory" and finally he toned it down a bit to just Memory.

I only have two usernames (well I guess three, maybe four) everywhere I go, mostly variations of the same thing...Goota:D

The symbols are the faith icons for Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican and Oriental Orthodox..

Cool.

Oh he just told me another one he was umopap!sdn. Stand on your head to understand that name.

I'm a little discouraged that this post has so many replies.

What do the different symbols in your signature mean, Mr.Jim?

Lol well why not? I just thought my other post must be really iffy and kinda a no-no if no one replied to it. I thought it was more important than a name change. I guess I was mistaken in assuming my (and others) prayer was actually answered.

Sorry about poor grammar.

:D Hardly, just wondering which of the four I belong...if I was pushing I'd have 'em all lined up down there.

I belong to a ceratin church but sometimes I'm not sure its the right one...

You know this is off topic but I was thinking about the Cleveland Catholic churches that have been closed and shut down and I didn't hear my pastor pray for them. I mean I know Catholicism isn't "our" faith but I thought it would be a good idea to pray for them to find a new church home... I mean some of the people had been going to those churches for 50 or so years and they really considered those places their church home. I was thinking...I really wanted to pray for them. He prayed for a baptist church the one where the pastor was shot during service. I know losing your church home isn't = to losing your priest or pastor but a lot of these people were really heart broken. I thought if he noticed that bit of news he'd have seen the piece about the 50 churches being shut down.

Am I corny for wanting to pray for that? It just came in my head during service that we should pray for them but he made no mention of it...

ETA: I am not downplaying the pastors death at all. I think we should pray for his ministry too. I didn't mean exclude him and his in our prayers just include those people too. IDK maybe I'm wrong. Idk I'm stupid sometimes.

PS: ReformedChapin I love the siggy picture. Cute. :)

Maybe you truly understand Jesus' words better than even your Pastor.

John 17:21 (NASB95)
21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
