I have wonderful news! My husband's business is sold! Now, as to why that's good news..... We have been trying to sell it for a year. It's a tire company and he's on call 24 hours a day. This company is so demanding. To make a long story short, he felt called into the ministry years ago. But he kind of gave up on Church (and God) after some issues in his Church as a teen. After we got married, we started looking for a Church and got back into it. He tried going back to college a few years ago. But, it was just so hard with running this business, doing all his college work and we'd just had Daniel. So after much prayer, he had to quit after a few classes. I really believe God wanted us both to be in a certain place with our walk with Him so He would know we were both ready.

So now he can head back to college. He really feels led to go into the youth ministry. He's so good with the teens. Admit it, it takes a special person to deal with that group. WIth the program he was in (won't bore you with the details) he'll start back in October and finish next October. Then we'll see where God leads us. I keep telling Dan that I feel God is going to lead us to Hawaii. That's been our joke for a few years. We had a missionary from Hawaii speak at our Church once and he said they need preachers out there. I think I broke a couple of Dan's ribs with my elbow that night.

Now we just have to pray for a really quick sale of the property the business sat on. The mortgage is high and we need to get out from under quickly. We know God will take care of that for us. Right now Dan is helping out the guy who bought the company instead of just dumping it in his lap. Then he'll get a job to due him while he's in college. He knows so many people in the area because of owning his own business. So that won't be a problem.

So I wanted to share. We're so happy and feel so blessed right now.
