CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Let's get back on track with the OP:
"Embedded age = maturity without history."
What's the difference? If something was magically made to LOOK old in every physical way, then it IS old.
What's the difference between the universe becoming 12 billion years old by itself, and the universe magically being 12 billion years old by the hand of God.
You are still admitting that the universe is 12 billion years old by every definition.
...and since we can observe, not just by cosmology, but also by geology (see fossils) that the earth does APPEAR to be millions of years old, then why is there an argument?
Embedded age theory is just trying to assume that the age INSTANTLY appeared on the universe thereby not allowing the processes of biology to evolve life (because evolution is the work of the devil).
Sneaky, sneaky creationists... How far will you move the goalpost of what you accept about science until you just give up and admit you are probably completely wrong?
