He passed away in 2000 from a drug overdose. My mom got the phone call from my Aunt Gail (mom's older sister) and we mourned for days. I remember how she reacted from it. She burst into tears and gasps while she was on the phone. Uncle Lang was her half-brother and she grew up with him.
We don't know if he was saved, but he was always reported reading his Bible. However, he was a sucessful musician until he commited suicide because of such a heavy depression. He gave up on himself and God.
