Which person from the Bible can you most identify with and why?

The apostle Peter because he is so genuine in everything he says and does. Because he loves the Lord so much and is so eager to please Him, to follow Him, to get close to Him, to do what is right. Because he has a passion for His Savior and does not let his blunders keep him down, but learns from them.

Do you remember where you were and what you were doing on the morning of September 11, 2001?
What went through your mind?

I was at work in Washington DC. After the plane hit the Pentagon nearby we were told to go home. After I got my car out of the garage I stayed 2 hours in a gridlock. People seemed to panic and were going through the red lights blocking all the roads. I tried to call my kids to let them know I was fine, that I was on my way but that it will take longer than usual. No cell phone could work then. While stuck in downtown DC, I remember looking at the other drivers and feeling them closer to me than ever before, like if I knew them. I was wondering what was going to happen next. I could not believe what just happened. Once I reached home I turned on the TV. The pictures I saw of NY seemed to come from a movie, they were unbelievable, shocking.

What do you think, ingenious idea or an area that government shouldn't be treading?

Too many in China, not enough in Russia.... What a world!

I think that the Government should not dictate families which school their children have to attend. What I mean is that my children have to go to the school in our neighborhood regardless of the school. We should be able to choose without having to pay for it.

◘ Do you believe in love at first sight? Have you ever experienced it? No, I believe in attraction at first sight. I've experienced it enought to know that it does not mean love at first sight.

○ How long does it take to be filled with wisdom? A life time. Are we born with it or is it acquired? Wisdom comes from God, so it can come at any age.

◘ Is it possible to love purely without expecting anything (even love itself) in return? Yes. That kind of love is very mature and deeply rooted in God.

○ What if you were a person of pure unconditional love? How would you think, feel, and act, and how different would your life be? How would other people respond to you? I would behave according to 1 Cor 13: 4-8. That type of true love is amazing. I guess people would respond differently, some would be scared by it, some will not think it's genuine, some would love it, some would think it's too much.... This is how God loves us and look how differently people react to it!

◘ You have a fatal disease and have been given 6 months to live. You are making peace with all the people you’ve wronged in your life. Who is the first person on your list and what would you say to them? I would not need to do that as, by the Grace of God I am at peace with everybody. Now some people have not wanted that peace and that's too bad. But, if I was going to die soon, I'd make sure to talk to as many people as possible that I know are still not saved and for whom I've been praying for their salvation. Also, I would love to give a huge party for whoever wants to come to celebrate my going home to Jesus!

It would be a mission inside jails where teenagers are being held. I feel so much for these youngsters and it seems to me that all prison ministries are geared toward adults. But, can you imagine how much of a difference Jesus can make in the life of these teenagers before they become adults?

I like people who are: dependable, friendly, honest, happy, great listeners, responsible, patient, humorous, uncomplicated, self-controled, gentle, wise, humble, slow to anger, .... Are your close friends just like you, just the opposite of you, or a little of both? A little of both.

◘ How would you react if a terrorist attacked a location where the majority of occupants are children (ie, school)? I would be shocked, crying, feeling a lot of sorrow thinking about their parents and praying for the families that have survived this terrible act. you believe that we should be watching for this type of attack? An attack could befall anyone of us.

○ If you were to become a doctor, what would you specialize in? Would you want to research? If so, what would you research and why? I am not medically inclined and am not sure about what type of doctor I'd like to be or what research field I'd choose.

○ Do you believe that water baptism is necessary for salvation? Why or why not? No. Baptism is a testimony to the world of an inside change.

◘ Which version of the Bible do you prefer to read? Why? Holman. It's not interpretive.

○ Do you believe in once saved, always saved? Why or why not? Yes. God never comes back on His Word. Once He makes us His children He does not forsake us.

◘ Is it correct to say that once we accept Christ into our life we are saved? Answer and then read Matthew 10:22 and give your opinion of the scripture. We are saved when we truly make Jesus our Lord and Savior. That is why we cannot judge others as only God knows our heart. Those who endure, spoken of in Matt. 10:22 are the ones who truly surrender to Jesus.
