Everybody else I know will either take a trip to spend time with their family or will have their family over. As for me, well, I do not have any family in the States. It's pretty tough. Two of my kids will spend Christmas at their father's. My older son and I will be home. We'll see what we'll do.

The first time I rode a horse I thought I was going to die, LOL. The horse was very stubborn and decided to take off. Thank God, I did not get hurt. Somebody advised me to go right back on another horse so that I don't get a horse-riding phobia. Reluctanctly I did and was glad about it.
Yes, we do have places around here where I could ride horses but with my busy life and the kids, I guess I'll pass for now.
