Tell me about some times that you felt lucky.

I don't believe in luck per se. I don't play games of luck like the lottery. I did play bingo one night when my then fiance was working it and I won, but the dude sitting next to me had to shout BINGO for me since I didn't realize it. For luck in terms of how others think about it...Kristin and I found a $100 bill at the beach a few years ago. We asked the lifeguard what to do with it...he said, "spend it". So we did

When you retire, what would you like to spend most of your time doing?

Working on an assumption here, one where I'd be married. So most of my time I'd be doing...I better tell you on the phone.

If you could read one person's mind, whose would you most like to read?

Even though we share a brain and you share so much of your thoughts with me, I'd still like to read yours.

If I could read God's mind I would like to as well. Just for a few things. Like our future and His will for us.

What are the words you live by?

I try to live by loving words. I want those words to be what my loved ones and friends remember me for. I think what you say is what you live. I try not to give the evil one a toehold in my life by what comes out of my mouth.

If you could teach your daughters only one "life lesson", but they would truly take it to heart, what would it be?

One statement I've made to all of them...several times is. "The decisions you make, whether good or bad, will affect you the rest of your life." I've found this throughout my life. If we take the time to make wise decisions, really weigh them out, hopefully they won't affect us negatively.

Analogy: When I was a teen, I could pop my hips out of joint. It would gross out my friend Debbie. I'd take her hand and put it on my hip and pop it out and she'd say....Ewwwwww So now the stupid things will come out of joint at the most inopportune times. At times they hurt. Had I made a wise decision then, I wouldn't have that problem now.

I love Dr. Suess. When we have grandbabies I'll be reading them Dr. Suess books. Green eggs and ham is one of my favorites. Others I like, Horton hears a Who, One Fish two Fish red Fish blue Fish, Yertle the Turtle and there was another one with a character named Otto but I can't remember the title of the book.

What would you gladly wake up extra early or stay up extra late to do?

Before I'm the Mrs. I'd gladly wake up early to go to the beach to enjoy a sunrise with you. I'd stay up late at night to talk to you on the phone...oh yeah, we already do that

1. Get big glass of milk (2% or skim).
2. Get a fork.
3. Take Oreo.
4. Stab Oreo through the white stuff with fork.
5. Dunk Oreo in milk until it stops bubbling.
6. Eat it.
7. Repeat as necessary.
