Relatiohnships are based on give and take. They can't be all taking and no giving or all giving and no taking. Balance is important. This question is about giving. What do you feel you need to sacrifice or compromise for this relationship?

I will sacrifice my lonliness. I will sacrifice my independence. I will sacrifice half my bed. I will sacrifice half my closet space. I will sacrifice being just one person and gain my other half of a brain. Looks like I'm making a lot of sacrifices...ones I am looking forward to. Thank you!!

Are you more like your father or your mother? In what ways? In what ways are you different?

I think I am like both of my parents. After my father I take my stubborness (perserverance), love of reading/learning and love of sardines in mustard. After my mother I take worrying, brown eyes and caring for other people. The ways I am different from them are...I can be loud at times (they were/are both quiet), I'm not afraid of trying new things or taking chances. Also, I was bad as a teen and young adult...at least they never admitted being as bad as I.

They were/are excellent parents. Raised me in a Godly home even though my path didn't show it. It sure wasn't a reflection on them as parents. Thank God for praying parents

If you won ten million dollars in a lottery, what would you do with it? How would it change your life?

Hmmmm...let's see, so many possibilities. First I'd give some to a growing church in the area. Then I'd be hunting for us a deserted island to inhabit...just you and me ;) Make sure my kids and Mom were taken care of and pack my bikini, fly to MN and grab you and then go to our island for the rest of our lives. Then fulfil that one dream.

How would it change me? I'd still live a simple life with you on the island. I don't think it would change me much, just have to keep those long lost relatives away ^_^

I'm slacking a bit - no questions from me for a couple of weeks. I've been trying to come up with a really good question that makes you think. Hopefully, this is it. . . .

Looking ahead - what's something new and different you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?
