  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Maybe I should ask for carbon monoxide next time I need my teeth checked?

The last time I checked, carbon monoxide is poisonous, and has no medical uses. It disrupts the binding and releasing of oxygen molecues with red-blood cells. I don't think you really want that. ;)

It depends somewhat on your age, and why your tooth chipped.

I problem with grinding my teeth for years, but a dedicated friend and roommate cured me of it.
However, what neither of us knew is that I was still clenching them in my sleep.
because I have been unable to see a dentist other than on a peicemeal basic for the last 15 years, this problem wasn't diagnosed until quite recently, when it was already pretty much too late.
My teeth are coming apart one by one, and I no longer have the funds to save them, even though my dentist could do so, and discounted the necessary work.
A filling he put in wouldn't fall out four times, either; he would handle that problem using a different method.
I strongly urge you to take the best care of your teeth that you possibly can, so that you won't have to suffer constant nerve pain in your fifties.
If you're in your fifties, and you've neglected your teeth from fear, it's equally important that you get all the damage control possible, ASAP.

You could, if you want to die.

Now, if you're referring to nitrous oxide, that's one thing, but carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas.

Edited to add: I see this has already been addressed. Nevermind.
