Biblical interpretations are a dime a dozen, which is why you have so many denominations of Christianity alone.

I agree, that is why I cling to accepting scripture just as it is written when it makes perfectly good sense just the way it reads. IMO, that is why I can prove my doctrines with Scripture when those who do not take it literally cannot. And like you say, there are a plethora of different interpretations so which one should anyone believe?

And this scripture is a reliable view of reality, why exactly?

What I think is that you do not honor your word so what reason would I have to believe what you say?
In what way have I not honored my word? Since you are moved to denounce me as liar you should be able to provide some detail.

Are you asking me to answer a question relative to scripture that you do not believe in? No matter what I answered you would discard it as a myth, etc. correct?

Let me put it this way. I don't believe everything I read. So, if I read something that discusses very important topics, I search for ways to verify the truth of the claims the written word is making. You see, man can write anything they like in stories and man has a track record of making stuff up for certain motivations. I imagine, you don't believe the written word of other holy books as being credible?

If there was no time dimension, how could God create things in steps, with one event after the other?

I will be happy to engage in a serious discussion of the subject, IF, we both agree to answer all questions that we may be asked with plausible, verifiable, when possible, answers, are you interested?

You appear to be trying to skirt the issue here and pretend someone else is not holding up to their end of the bargain, which I see zero evidence to support.

In what way have I not honored my word?

OK, did you agree to answer all questions that I may ask?

Did you answer all questions that I have asked you?

IF, you say yes, I am going to quote a number of questions that I have asked but have not seen an answer for, so will you be able to quote your answers to those questions?

Just some personal information, I have no respect and very little patience with dishonesty, not the same as an honest mistake, and I do not make accusations that I cannot prove.

What "Bible" are you using that makes that assertion, can you quote the verse(s)?
Why should it matter which Bible? If there is doubt one goes to the original Hebrew for Old Testament, or Greek for the New with occasional bits in Aramaic.

Of course there are numerous verses that say that the Earth does not move. That is why the Catholic Church went after Galileo:

"
1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”

Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”

Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”

There are visions that only make sense if the writer believed the Earth to be flat. Daniel 4 10-11 and Matthew 4 8 both have the whole world being seen from a height. That only works on a flat Earth. And the same applies to Revelation 1 7.

And then of course there is the verse in Isaiah that clearly describes a flat Earth and is constantly misinterpreted:
Isaiah 40:22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

Though the International Standard Version translates the Hebrew the most accurately:

"He's the one who sits above the disk of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He's the one who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in,"

Some opinions about the BB and Singularity theory and I bet there are other "scientists" that disagrees with this one's views. An excerpt.

[I’ve talked over the years with many experts in “quantum gravity” [the poorly understood but required blend of Einstein’s gravity and quantum physics, a blend that will be needed to explain extreme gravitational phenomena] and I’ve never spoken to one who believed that the universe began with a real singularity. Why? Because

§ the singularity arises from using Einstein’s equations for gravity

§ but we know Einstein’s equations aren’t sufficient — they aren’t able to describe certain extreme gravitational phenomena.

Specifically, when the density and heat become extremely large, quantum physics of gravity becomes important. But Einstein’s equations ignore all these quantum effects. So we already know that in certain extreme conditions, Einstein’s equations simply don’t apply. How could we then use those very same equations to conclude there’s a singularity at the beginning of the universe?

We can’t.]

So the question, what size was the BB, the Dot or whatever one wishes to label it? In addition, how can you prove your answer as anything more than speculation?

Now that I answered that question for you do you take Genesis literally? Do you believe the Adam and Eve myth? How about the Noah's Ark story?

You do realize that those have been refuted as strongly as the flat Earth claims have been refuted, don't you?

Up to a point. First, in post 159, I tried to answer your question about the origin of space, time, energy and matter without setting conditions, and I think that you should do the same thing. Second, I will not answer questions about my personal religious beliefs. Third, I am not willing to write a long dissertation about cosmology, even if I knew enough about the subject, before you are willing to answer my question; after all, I have other things to do besides contributing to internet forums. If you can answer my question without raising a lot of extraneous issues, then I will agree to engage in a discussion, and to answer as many as possible of your questions.
