We don't go snooping around the bible. You are the one snooping around the bible to find some way to misapply it to our understanding of nature and the physical world. If you stuck to the supernatural, you would get little grief from me.

In the quotes he mentions though, the quote could just as easily be about his slanted interpretation of the bible than anything to do with science.

The quotes are quite funny historically if we consider things like religions answer to the bubonic plague and what it means for religion.

Please spare us your sophistry. Yes, he meant Genesis 1 & 2. Did you really think his point centered on the writing of the entire book, rather than just the first two chapters? Do you think you caught him and he will now admit, "well yes, Adam wrote the first two chapters, I thought you said all of it?" You split hairs like a lawyer.... or a Pharisee.
