Here it goes!
When i was growing up i remember my mom saying "Ok let's go to church", and i would give her this big fight about how boring it was and about how i wasnt going to talk to her if she made me go. Now I have to ask her to bring me to church.... This testimony tells you how i figured out that i needed God in my life!
Before this year i had a problem with going to church, and with trusting god, i never thought i was worth it, and i just thought it was soo boring. Every Sunday i would make my mom feel so bad she would sometimes just leave me behind, and now i realize i had made a big mistake. Recently I joined my churche's youth group in May. We had bible studies, and youth events, and this helped me learn more about god, but i never was saved yet. At the end of May, we attended a youth conference in Edmonton, and man did it open my eyes. I walked into Rexall Place (where it was being held) and I was like "Oh my gosh, look how many people are here" it was amazing to see soo many people wanting to worship our savior. The first speaker really got to me... this is when i realized i needed God in my life, and i needed to start praying. That conference was a whole new beginning for me, and i just thank the lord for letting me be able to attend that. It has changed my life. Now every day i worship, and praise god, and i pray. Every Sunday i attend church, and this summer i am attending a bible camp. I used to listen to music with all these swears and things i would never listen to today. Now i mainly listen to christian music. I am now saved, and I am so proud of being a christian!
