I've been a "Christian" for 7 years. I went to church, hung out with my friends at youth on Wednesday nights, and I participated in the Christmas and Easter productions at my church. When I first became a Christian, I felt the warmth of God. But as I got older I began to become cold. I reached a point where I didn't believe in anything. I didn't consider myself an athiest but I didn't believe in God.

August 2004: When I entered my first year of college, I was taking 12 classes which contained 17 credit hours. I was burned-out by the end of the semester. All of my old friends from church were growing stronger with God while I was falling and falling. I decided to change my Major to undeclared to give me an open mind on career opps. (I later knew this move was from God).

My second semester was great! I was only taking 5 classes, had great teachers, and I was able to hang out with my friends more. At UCF, there is a College Ministry called BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministries). I consider myself Non-denom., but I had gone to a Baptist Church throughout Middle School. My friends had invited me there one night and I began to feel the warmth of God again. It wasn't a full force warmth, but I knew that it was SOMETHING. I went to BCM for the rest of the semester, but before the year ended God completely rotated my life...

3 weeks before school ended, the BCM message was about Angels...and if they exist. He talked about how we surround ourselves with strong people to help us on our path with God and how to reach a higher connection with God. The message didn't really affect me until later on that night.

When I got home, I started to feel an emotion that I could only describe as...(I can't describe. It's too powerful). God started showing me these messages about Angels through the radio, television, and my parents. When I got home my parents mentioned If I had seen my friends Ivan and Erin recently...DING. They were at BCM that night...

Ivan and Erin are my Angels. They have always been beside me and have always lifted me up when I needed help. These are the only two people who realized I was in trouble with my relationship with God throughout High School. This all happened that night after BCM. It was the first time God had spoken to me and I felt it. I knew it was Him because it was something I had never experienced before and there was so much conviction! I remember resting on my bed and everything popped in: Ivan and Erin were put into my life for the sole reason to keep me on track with God. God used them to help me! I cried for hours. It was such an amazing feeling that I'm sure I will never forget.

The next day I got on AIM (which I rarely do) and my friend Mike IM-ed me (we hadn't talked for atleast 2 months). He told me that he's afraid about death and that he has lost his hope in God... This was my chance to be his Angel. I talked to him about what had happened to me the night before, and I told him: God planned it this way! This was supposed to happen! That week he re-dedicated his life. Since that night (March 21, 2005) I have become a completely different person and I love it! All thanks to my Angels from God I can honestly call myself a "True Christian."

Never give up on your path with God. He never does! :)
