At times, can God be confused at us..? If it is possible for God to be confused, I believe He would be confused listening to so many of our foolish prayers... Have you heard or said this..? "Oh Lord, take not your Holy Spirit from me." Or... "O Lord, please be with us tonight as we meet..? Or... "Oh Lord, come visit us." God's thinking, hmmm!... Somewhere in My Book I promised never to leave them nor forsake them... (Heb. 13:5). He has to wonder, "Come visit us!!!" Am I your God, just a visitor OR, a permanent resident..?

There are many areas where we may be confusing God that one could bring up, another time perhaps, but this time around, we'll deal with prayer... We sometimes pray foolish prayers because we don't understand that it's already done. In you spirit, You have all of God you can get. We don't need Him to "stretch forth His hand and touch you." He's already put Himself on the inside of you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead already indwells you. (Rom. 8:11; Eph. 1:19,20) Think about this... We don't really need more of God. (I said that..?) We just need to renew our minds and find out what we already have and what He's already done for us. Once we learn this, then we can watch how we pray, and not only that, but watch what we say also... While watching Ken Copeland and Jerry Savelle on his BVOV broadcast recently, Ken said something a little off, and he repented and said "Lord, please forgive me for that sir.." Then he caught himself and said, "Lord, thank you for "already" forgiving me."

Yes, our (not so perfect) fearless leader of the WoF movement admitted he had messed up a little, however he corrected himself. God doesn't fall off of His throne because we mess up from time to time. He knew it was coming, and the good news is that He has already dealt with it... It was "forever" finished... on the cross.

But... could He still be scratching His head at us sometimes..?

Well... thank you, my fellow Marine. I noticed that you were a water survival instructor. Have to ask... Were you the one who almost drowned me during my drown proofing course back in 67 in Diego..? I wasn't doing the procedure correct, and as I came up for air, the instructor pushed my head back in the water and I almost drowned in the training. Hmmm..! Trying to remember... Are you the one who made me do underwater push-ups on the training pool floor..? You sir, brought back some memories. I should have caught your user name as a fellow Marine... OldDogDiver? You left out the Devil between the Old and the Dog... Only a jarhead knows what that means..

It has been reported by Fox News that a man fell overboard off of a cruise ship and it has been confirmed by the passengers list that ABlessedMan was the only passenger that was reported missing...This was reported sometime back in mid late July, or mid August, according to Cruise News...(This is NOT a true story)

According to eye witnesses, there was a man who was leaning over the ships side rails, who was throwing up from eating tainted oysters...It was also reported that this man had to be escorted from the restaurant gallery for making several trips to the oyster bar, in which he apparently ate all of ships supply of oysters..."Bob?"

Same eyewitnesses said, as he was leaning over the edge, he went overboard... U.S. Navy Coast Guard vessels searched along with other ships and helicopters, searching the area and came up empty after several days of searching in the entire Caribbean area...The search was then called off, fearing the worse...(Wouldn't surprise us if he was swallowed up, and now he's debating Jonah. I believe Bob could take him.)

"Breaking News!" According to Daystar Satcom 2 satellite imagery, a man believed to be ABlessedMan, was seen swimming in the Atlantic ocean approximately 150 miles east of the Bahama Islands which is 300 miles from Miami. Close up satellite imagery confirms that the swimmer has been identified as ABlessedMan, who fell overboard from a cruise ship back in late July or mid August.

Another satellite image just came in to Fox News, is showing a large object following, and just behind the identified swimmer. It appears...! "Yes," It"s confirmed, he is being followed by a huge great white shark.

(probably a hungry one, I might add)...It appears that the speed of the swimmer has really increased..."Oh Really.? No kidding..?"

Efforts to get the Coast Guard to continual their search were denied. Their reasoning was that the swimmer and the great white shark have just entered into the Burmuda Triangle, and they have orders not to follow in after them.

More "Breaking News." The swimmer and the shark have changed directions in the Triangle... "It, It...appears they are both swimming in circles!!! Hmm!...(This reminds me of one of Andrew Wommack's quotes..) Going around in circles is like, (He's on a tread mill, going nowhere...) The saga continues...

So, here I sit in northwest Ohio, at 4:30 PM Monday afternoon. We just received 9" of new snow on top of 4" received a few days earlier. With the heavy snow we are having (2) days of winds up to 35 mph or so, and as I look out my window, it looks like the North Pole. At times, the winds are creating white out conditions. We hand shoveled out our large driveway that wraps around our home (4) times yesterday and last night, but you couldn't tell it by looking out side right now. Very high drifts everywhere. It will be Wednesday before we begin shoveling again.

Right now, it's -13 with a wind chill of -42 with the winds. Weather observers say, this is the coldest period in decades in our neck of the woods... The winds are not expected to cease until Wednesday morning. Tonight, the temperature is said to drop to -19 below 'O' and expect chill factors of -50/65 below "0" in parts of the east, and the midwest....

Jeesh..!

Hmm... I wonder if I could throw a bucket of water outside in the air and watch the water freeze before it reaches the ground...

This brings be to why am I writing about this. Getting a little sic and tired of this... "Global Warming.."

Didn't I just read something about a Russian ship with scientists on a mission documenting "global warming" and shrinking polar ice caps, and the ship got stuck in record-breaking Antarctic ice..?

We all remember this guy right..?

Curly says, "Moe... I can't hear a thing... Moe says, " Why not?" "I wasn't listening..? (classic!)

Even as we read what Curly, and Moe says here... we still can hear their actual voices in our minds. Can't wait till they come back on TV. We usually watch everyone of their episodes.

This... at times, speaks about us... God talks to us through His Word and again...at times, we wasn't listening either.

One of the greatest benefits of our salvation has to be that of hearing God speak to us personally. There can be no intimate relationship with our heavenly Father without it. But, as easy as it is for us to speak to Him, the average Christian has a hard time hearing His voice. This is not the way the Lord intended it to be.

The Lord constantly speaks to us and gives us His direction. It's NEVER the Lord who is NOT speaking, but it's us who are not hearing. Jesus made some statements in His Word about hearing His voice. He was speaking about Himself as the Shepherd of the sheep and the only way to enter the sheepfold.

John 10:3-5
"To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers."

One of the BIG reasons we don't hear the voice of the Lord better is
we're not being still and not listening. Second, and this is very important, most often we mistake the voice of the Lord... and we often miss His leading, thinking it's our own thoughts.

Psalm 46:10

"Be still, and know that I am God."

Many Christians are practicaly beging God to speak to them, when it's our HEARING that needs to be adjusted. Taking this faith-stance that God is speaking and then learning to listen and obey will transform our relation-ship with the Lord.

I am convinced that our gracious heavenly Father speaks to every one of His children CONSTANTLY, giving us all the information and guidance we need to be total overcomers.

Lord... I thank you for forgiven me, when at times, I fail to be still and listen to your voice... This includes teaching on our forum, and possibly just once in a while... I may be wrong.

Oh BTW... I'm still waiting for someone, anyone, to respond to my previous quiz post. I like to have a little fun to you know...

Church Members Mistreat Homeless Man in Church Unaware It Is Their Pastor in Disguise

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service, only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him.

He asked people for change to buy food – no one in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit in the back.

He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him. As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such.

When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. "We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek.” The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation.

The homeless man sitting in the back stood up and started walking down the aisle. The clapping stopped with all eyes on him. He walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment then he recited,

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

‘The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning. Many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame.

He then said, “Today I see a gathering of people, not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples. When will YOU decide to become disciples?”

He then dismissed service until next week.

Following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ should be more than just talk. It ought to be a lifestyle that others around you can love about you and share in.

Don't Worry... You Have Plenty Of Time​

Satan held a conference in hell with all of his demons on how to destroy the Church. He gathered all of his demons together and asked the question? How do we conquer the souls of men and drag them into hell?

The first demon raised his hand and said, "I will tell the people of the earth that Jesus Christ is a fraud." Satan said, "that won't work. He was already risen from the grave and was seen by 552 people in 13 locations and they know he's not a fraud."

The second demon said, "I will tell the people that God's Word is not true and it is a myth and composed of men" Satan said, "that's clever but there is too many that are standing on the promises of God. They've already been saved... They've already been healed... They've already experiencing joy. They have peace in the time of storms in spite of the things that were doing."

A third demon raised his hand and said, "I have it, Lord Satan... I will go to the earth and tell man that Jesus is real and the Word of God is true and hell is a horrible place, "BUT" there is plenty of time to repent and tell them... Don't be in a hurry to accept the Lord. You have plenty of time. Wait until you have all of the fun you want to have, and then when you get old and wore out... there is still plenty of time." Satan laughed, "That's it! That's it!...that's perfect. Man will put off from receiving Jesus until they stumble into the abyss of hell... lost forever." Satan said, "Go with that message."

And so his plan worked for generations.

So... nice and funny "BUT" this post has a message. Maybe some of you that drifted up here to our Word of Faith (WoF) forum are also thinking that you have plenty time to get saved, or your already a Christian and just need to be more committed to Christ. There are millions of unbelievers in hell right now because... they also thought they had plenty of time. It's your time to make a decision.

You may say that you have plenty of time because someone said to you that Jesus can't come back unless these three things must happen first. But I assure you that there is absolutely nothing that HAS to happen. Jesus could arrive even before this post is read by you. We could be that close...

Thanks John... During his introduction by the elders... the homeless man walked up to the alter from the back of the church... all the clapping stopped when they seen him. He then grabbed the mic from the elders and introduced himself, and then he ministered to them of what he just experienced. Can you imagine their shame and embarrassment?

He could have "really" poured it on to them, but instead he finished what the Lord had him to say, and sent them home to think about what just happened.

Well... On another note... just listened to Charles Capps again a few minutes ago. I really miss him already... Doggone him! He left us way too early... Saddness, and happiness at the same time. Happiness rules..
