Where does survival of the fittest fit in with evolution today?

I don't hear that term much anymore.

Usually they stop at "survival," and "of the fittest" seems to have made an [embarrassing?] exit.

Perhaps that's because you're not listening.

How would you know? You who take pride in your ignorance.

The reason you don't hear it anymore is because it is only one part of evolutionary theory and the term was always misleading. This is common knowledge. Google it.

I can count though.

How many times have you seen "survival of the fittest", as opposed to "survival"?

So it's an embarrassment today, I take it?

I would be embarrassing myself if I used it?

Hardly! Do you know what other selective forces drive allele frequency?
I'm talking about just one: survival of the fittest, as it applies to observation at the empirical level.

You know: animals going extinct, those sorts of things.

What prompted this challenge was someone's post (I can't find it now) ending with the word "survival," and I noticed that he didn't say "survival of the fittest."

Then it struck me that evolutionists don't much use that term anymore.

Scientists haven't used this term for a long time--it is misleading--science deniers tend to misapply it.

Why does this matter to you?

Also, credit given where it's due, the title is clever.

Non-sequitur. Failed challenge as always.
If my challenges fail ... well ... whose fault is that?

Instead of complaining, unfail them by answering them.

Just another example of science mislabeling something, then quietly truncating it and thinking we won't notice.

I'll say this though, I am surprised that one of science's most embarrassing mislabels, the "flying" squirrel, is still called "the flying squirrel."

They shot Pluto down faster than an honest vote; but the Glaucomys volans lives on.

”Science” doesnt work like that.

Your view sounds like tinfoil hat nonsense.
