I don't want to give up but its hard not too. I get bored as well..I got saved in 2010... And I had a few experiences here and there but it wasn't consistent. I just feel like I'm doing something wrong..

All I know to do is just read the bible and pray..but it feels so forced and lifeless...(yes I've been baptized and have the holy spirit) ... I thought when I at least got baptized and stuff the bible comes alive and your prayer life isn't the same..,

It just feels like I'm doing everything, I just wonder where is God in my relationship... I just feel like he's just silently watching me.... Idk, I honestly don't know what to do.

Please help.

Seems to me, that you may be trying to base your faith on feelings. Don't do it! Feelings deceive us, everyday. I learned this the hard way. I went through about a week of doubting my salvation and trying to just "feel" God with me. What changed, is that I realized that God is with me and that He loves me, I know He is with me. I don't try to force Him to speak to me, or try to "feel" Him, because I already know He is there. I can hear His voice speaking to me now that I have realized this. It was only in the last month that I have found this out, but it is something that has hit me so strongly. Here is a video from the Winter Ramp 2017 where Todd White talked. Watch the next 2 or 3 minutes starting from where I linked...

P.S. Todd White helped me to come to the realization two months ago, that the last two years that I thought I was saved, I truly wasn't. I knew of God, but I did not know Him or have relationship with Him. I HIGHLY recommend watching the full talk here, or looking at his other things.

You're going through this test right now. It's the hardest test emotionally, psychologically and physically. The devil has been given free rein over you temporarily to test your faith and love for God. It's a test to see how much you love God under dire circumstances.

Revelation 2:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

You're not alone in this test. I went through it myself twice till I finally passed. The last time I told this test it lasted 13 years of my life living in pure hell. But once it was over, my life completely changed, and so did my heart and my thinking of life and people. Since that time, there's been nothing short of peace and joy regularly. Just letting you know the test isn't always a short experience and there's a rainbow waiting for you at the end of the storm.

This test is also revealed in the book of Job. It'll give you a lot of guidance and encouragement.

Job 1 NKJV;GNT - Job and His Family in Uz - There was a - Bible Gateway

Many people in the bible also took this test early on before they became great men and women of God. The Apostle Paul was blinded and imprisoned. Joseph the son of Jacob was also imprisoned. Abraham had to sacrifice Isaac. Even Jesus was tested early on. Jesus always lead by example and lived His life as a testimony for us to follow in His footstep.

He immediately took this test soon after getting baptised by John. In the wilderness, Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights to get himself as close to death as possible and than let the devil test Him, to try to get Him to deny God. Jesus rebuked satan's temptations loving God no matter what, even when near death He held onto God. Matthew 3:16-4:1

I thought I share Matthew 4:1-11 with you because many Christians actually thinks it's a scripture on fasting but it's really not. It's what the devil wants many to believe and not realize it's what Jesus did to pass this test. And we're not required to fast under the new testament. Luke 5:33-34, Matthew 9:14-15, Mark 2:18-19.

Yes, Matthew 4:1-11 shows us what Jesus did to pass this test. Just love God no matter what the devil throws at you. Resist and deny him under all circumstances and you will win and the test will end.

Many Christians also goes through this test but unfortunately they don't know it. Believe it or not, we're the lucky ones. Others will have to take this test in the tribulation during the final 7 years before Jesus returns to earth. For the other readers constantly going through tough times in life right now wondering why troubles never end, it's because you're taking this test too. Just love God and resist the devil and the pain will one day end.

Hmm did you repent...sometimes you have to actually name the sin and confess it to repent of it fully is there something in you that you are not acknowledging?

For a new life you need to cast off the old and put on the new..see matthew 9:4-7 parable of the wineskins. Sometimes whats involved is a fast.

getting involved in service helped change my walk. helping others in Christ's name takes the focus off me and my feelings. Sometimes we have to manually change the way we see things...focusing on the beauty of Gods creation, etc...

Phil 4.8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Far Side of the Moon: Find a church to attend where you live, get connected! Online isn't meant for that...it's only a way to be in contact with others it's not meant to take the place of building real relationships with those in your own town/community.

Build relationships/friendships with other believers right where you live.
Believers need to be supporting/encouraging/praying etc for one another person to person not just through the internet. There's great value in real relationships with people that you can sit down with in person and get to know them.
Too many are involved in internet and text messaging type relationships...everything be "instant"...so superficial... lacking real depth...life isn't all quick/quick. People are more than just avatars on a computer screen or a text message.

The bible say in Hebrews 10:25... "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching."

Do you have some kind of hobby or do something you enjoy outside of church related stuff? Life can become overwhelming if all you think about everyday is "how do I try and please God". That's definitely important to keep in mind, but god has also given us a world of stuff we can do. Maybe think about joining some sports, try a new hobby, volunteer somewhere. Those activities can be a good way of giving your thoughts a bit of a break and just enjoying life a little bit.

God gave me one of the world's first online churches to pastor, and it was very exciting for the first two years. But even then I felt empty without IRL ministry activity. You need to find or start something in the Kingdom.

I'd say God is always there. Every second of every day. It may not feel like it but Hes there. If things feel forced are you saying you read and pray because you feel you have to? Do you mean it when you pray? If not then it could be part of the problem. But if you mean you just feel like its repetitive, it can feel that way, especially when your newer to being a christian and not sure what exactly to do or feel.

Like I say, life doesn't become some super perfect life after being saved. Trials will still happen. Though many could argue life is better in terms of you feel better knowing you are changing and being more Christ like.

Well..help me cheat :D what do I do? What do I do to pass?

I need to ask you a few questions first to find out where you are in your walk. It's like a doctor diagnose a patient before prescribing the right medication. Don't want to give you pain killers when you have a cold.

Have you had any supernatural encounter?

Have you had any changes in your desires to help others? Or developed a greater value for people.

Have you had any negative feelings about God?

Have you had any problems of any type in the last 12 months and 6 months?

I feel this way sometimes too. God does love you and cares for you more than anything. Jesus showed his compassion to women too and that is something I like alot about him. He will wipe away your tears.
