I wanted to send out my personal thanks and deepest appreciations, and my personal thanks and gratitude to you all...

I am alone now, I lost my wife and child and her side of family (her family members that I have gotten to know and had a place in my life, well we didn't spend much time with my family, so I was estranged to them, and they won't hardly even talk to me. Anyways so I lost my wife and kid (grew-up) 18, not dependent on us anymore, moved out when she was 17, when I lost my wife, child, her family, my friends, my family even, I have no living mother and father, or grandparents, anyone really...

Anyways I'm by self now, and I don't get much human contact from day to day, or get the chance to conversate, and on so my communication practice (and socialization skills) has been mainly on-line and I wanted to thank you all for listening and replying, and being there for me...

Much Thanks and gratitude CF goers!,

you are in my prayers!

God Bless You!

Keep your head up Neogaia.. I have some physical disabilties that keep me from working, but since I became a Christian I joined a church and started attending several men's groups, and it has greatly blessed my life.

These online groups are good, and I am thankful for them, and I am glad they are blessing you, but it is a good idea to get involved with people in "real life", if you can.

We humans have a need and hunger for personal connection, God made us this way. I don't know you at all but I see you do post on here alot and I am happy to see you reach out, we need fellow believers, it is hard sometimes when we lose loved ones and go through major changes in our lives.

Again, I don't know you or know what your personal "struggles" are other than what you just wrote, but if you can physically "get out" and join a men's group and find some brothers who you can have coffee with or talk on the phone with, I know it would help. When I came to the Lord I was so depressed and "broken", like we all are, and Jesus has led me to some great people, who I can trust. "Iron sharpens iron" the bible says, it is important that we meet with believers regularly and worship and fellowship and share what the Lord is doing in us. I promise, you will be a blessing to others as well.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and shine His face to shine upon you.

Praying that God will bless you immensely for maintaining faith throughout the turmoil, Geo.

I also think that God may have directed us here to counsel one another. I came here for spiritual help when I was depressed about being single; now, it hardly bothers me at all.
