I’ve been rather ill for a while, and I’ve been in need of healing and protection. But in a moment of clarity during my suffering, I had something of an epiphany…
While many people have prayed for me, and posted words of prayer and support, (which I deeply appreciate, and still need), I realized that my mother needs prayer perhaps more than I.

My mom is 75 and she’s suffering terribly. Without going into great detail here, I can say that she needs to be lifted from worry and have peace, clarity and the comfort of still mind; she needs to be lifted from bitterness through forgiveness and compassion for others; without these things, her relationships with others, and her mental health and physical well being are in jeopardy.

:prayer: :prayer: :crossrc:

Thanks,

DD

Godly Morning,

I read your post and felt as if it was I writing it. Trust me, I can relate to you words and thoughts. I have told my mother that she is the smartest person I kknow and also the unhappiest. In over 40+ years, I can't remember a happy moment that my mother has ever had. Then I finally realized that her being unhappy is what made her happy. I know that sounds confusiing, but it is true.

Growing up, religion was never spoken nor was a Bible there. My parents believed in life after death and believed that God had never existed. It is now that my mother has started to believe in God. I gave her a bible with notes and she reads it daily. She has also started to research religion and I can see a small change. I just keep praying and know the Lord will help her. She has had 3 heart attacks since February.

One thing that may help is the below. I want to see my mom smile at the last part of her life. I knew I could not change her just by speaking. So, I started sending her a small gift in the mail 2x a month. It would be a card regarding love, wisdom, life, etc. I would always include a small gift such as a bookmark, bracelet, a flower I picked, etc. You can send things that she likes. On the card I would have a label affixed that had the following words TYPED on it: "You Are Loved - Make Today A Happy Day" under that would be a scripture reference: Ex.: John 13: 27-38. I would then send the package. At this point, she has no idea it is me who is sending the gift. But, I know for a few moments in her life, she has a smile. :)

Many blessings to you and your mother. As my pastor always says:
"LET GO AND LET GOD" :preach:

I am praying very deeply for you and your mother. I know his wonderful power of healing will help heal you. The more you give into the pain taking over your life, the more you lose a moment of cheer. Smile and know that there are many who love you and have you in their thoughts.

Blessings,
Christian

Thank you all so much for your prayers for my mother, and for your support and guidance.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for helping in my life, and in the lives of others. I humbly ask that my mother be lifted from bitterness, and have clarity and peace of mind restored; may her heart be softened that she may have forgiveness and understanding; may she be lifted from anger and fear, and be healed with comfort and compassion for others. Sometimes in life we get so mixed up and ill ourselves, we forget the need for others, non of us can say this is not true as we are all guilty of it at times. Anyone who denies this fact are forgetting something in there walk with the Lord.

Father I thankyou that you have shown this important thing to us through astral cat, as we all need to remember it!!!!!!! I pray for Astralcats words of wisdom, and pray for every problem, illness he/her has and ask for healing in there body, I also pray for his/her mum also that her state of mind will be healed, I pray against the bad thoughts of unforgiveness etc and ask for peace and comfort for her. I thank you Lord also that this has been brought to our attention, and pray that many will read it as a reminder that others our in need to. Amen:amen: GOD BLESS YOU ASTRALCAT. I hope you are both well soon!

Praying for you, and for your mom, that God will grant you health, and peace of mind and comfort. I pray that your mom will be able to forgive, and will be set free from the things that are binding her.

Amen

:crossrc: Lord, heal DD's mom. Deliver her mom of her fears in the Name of Jesus. In place of those fears place your peace...the peace which surpasses our human understanding...in her heart. Calm her in body, soul, and spirit. Bring to her mind the futility of bitterness and resentment...help her forgive as you forgive her. Renew her O, Lord...strenghten her...and give her a heart of compassion. Help her turn to you in all matters.

Of course, we know ,Lord, that DD's mom like the rest of us has free will and can chose to let go of past hurts or refuse to let them go...I ask ,in the Name of Jesus, for the gift of grace for her. Lord, have mercy on her and us all!

"Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us..."
