  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I don't need anyone to tell me to stick it out cause I'm gonna find something else. I've stuck it out for 6 months and it's bad and is only getting worse.

Tonight I went home and tried to lay down after a 12 hour shift and suddenly I started hyperventilating and crying and screaming and feeling like I couldn't breathe. I stumbled all the way to the kitchen to take as many chamomile pills as I could just to calm down.

This morning someone stole 190 dollars out of my bank account so I am working hard just to get money stolen.

    I'm really down rn.
We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

Boy ... sorry to hear of your difficulties, obviously you are doing the right thing. A few things you might want to consider regarding your bank acct. The less traffic in your bank acct. the better. Limit as many direct pays out of your bank acct as possible. If you have a debit card ... don't use it (only use if you need cash for yourself). I do not use a debit card at all. Get an American Express card and have everything paid through it ..... pay off the balance entirely every month so not to pay interest. They are excellent in noticing bogus charges. Whenever possible use paypal (with your American express card attached to it) it adds another level of security. Some places don't accept AE ... so have a visa for limited use in such cases ... and again ... pay off the entire balance every month.
It takes self-disciple on the credit cards ... but they are a lot more secure than debit cards. Should something happen it's a lot easier to cancel credit cards rather than closing out bank accts. Have been doing this for over 20 years and no problems.

May the Lord lead you to a great job! Amen.

Oh sweetheart I am going to pray for you. This situation is not going to last forever and you will get through this. The Lord knows what you're going through so don't think you're alone in this. It will get better and you will move in from this a stronger person. It makes me sad knowing that you are hurting but I can guarantee you that God has not left your side even though sometimes we feel we are alone.
