The "correct" way to spell it has varied over the years. Largely due to the fact that English cannot phonetically represent the Arabic pronunciation accurately. It used to be "Koran", in fact my spell check still recognizes only that version. Then "Quran" and now "Qur'an" all in an attempt to replicate the throat clearing sound of Arabic. Neither of those versions pass my spell checker.

To me, a "Muslim terrorist" is a Muslim who would help a little old lady across the street, or plant flowers.

Why academians insist on giving a "convert-or-die" religion equal standing with a "love-thine-enemy" is [almost] beyond me.
