My Genesis 1 Bottleneck Event Challenge
Wife made me a huge bowl of pasta salad, since she's going to a Bible conference tomorrow.
God didn't write the Bible.
He inspired it, and chosen men wrote it down.
The Flood is not a lie at all. Anyone who does a legit study of it will most likely come to the conclusion by the evidence that exist that yes there was a worldwide flood as described in the Book of Genesis.
God cleaned up the mess, but left two major pieces of evidence behind: white cliffs and meandering rivers.
Then He had it all documented.
He swept the coccoliths into a nice, neat pile; and He ordered the water to a siphoning point along a predetermined path that etched into the earth a serpentine signature, pointing to Genesis 3.Nice story -- too bad you made it up.
Ad hoc theology to avoid reality. Whatever floats your boat then.He swept the coccoliths into a nice, neat pile; and He ordered the water to a siphoning point along a predetermined path that etched into the earth a serpentine signature, pointing to Genesis 3.
Psalm 104:8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
I saw what you did there...Whatever floats your boat then.
Thanks for your opinion regarding the inspired Word of God.Faith in God inspired men to write about the doings of God, as they speculated about such things relative to themselves. Their human and cultural bias is included in the depiction of a God fashioned largely in their own image. Genocide, child rape, murder, magic, man made rules of conduct, arrogance, myth making, redactions, more exaggerations, all this in the "fetish book" of the Israelites appropriated narratives.
The false doctrine of the inspiration of scripture is an invention of the men in the priesthood who rely on it for their authority.
Anyone who study's the earth can see that there have been millions and billions of "floods" and mudslides that preserve the fossilized remains that we find today by simply digging them up. The dirt beneath our feet was once alive.
Unable to trace their bloodlines back to the presumptive "first two humans", the Hebrew priest class decided to drown the whole world in its wickedness to fill in the......... gap......... between themselves and ancient Mesopotamian lore about Adam.
Finalized in Babylon, after loosing their Temple and their nation, the priest class went to the other extreme in creating a comprehensive story of origins of the Israelites and for an Israelite audience. Like Lucifer, they elevated themselves high above their Semitic cousins whom they consider "dogs".
*The evolved earth was populated when Adam arrived in ancient history. Cain fears people out away from the garden.
*The "crafty beast" was already fallen when he approached Eve. When then did he fall?
We were to start out fresh with the new religion of The Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven taught and lived by Jesus. He warned us NOT to sew the new cloth onto the old, but most of his early followers were Jews who naturally tried to connect his religion to their old religion.
I saw what you did there
I think there's little point arguing the evidence, as AV can simply claim that God made it look that way.
There is no evidence for the flood as if common sense isn’t enough. Thanks for your opinion regarding the inspired Word of God.
It seems to be drenched in dark psychedelics and paranoia.
The evidence that exists declares a worldwide flood as written in the first 11 chapters of The Book of Genesis.
It takes more faith to believe a lie then it does the truth.
False. There is no evidence for the flood as if common sense isn’t enough.
There is no evidence for the flood ...
That's because scientists look down -- into the earth -- for the evidence, when in actuality, the evidence was taken up.
Water flows downward ... but it is siphoned upward.
"Common sense" is a laughable claim, and there is no "obvious evidence" of a flood. There is only misunderstanding of observations by the uneducated. For example fossils are not evidence of a flood they are evidence against it. If there was one worldwide flood we would see a completely different fossil record.False.
Common sense declares there was a worldwide flood as well as obvious evidence (s).
I guess common sense would be a laughable claim to the uneducated and to deny the evidence (s) much less obvious would be due to misunderstanding of the observations thereof or just a flat out denial due to past or present obnoxious beliefs built upon deceit and mockery."Common sense" is a laughable claim, and there is no "obvious evidence" of a flood. But please bring up your evidence. If it is proper evidence you might convince some people. If it is in error people can explain your errors to you. It is a win win situation.
Unless that thirty feet or so was siphoned off as well.Only thirty feet or so. You do know how a siphon works don't you?
Nope, wells can only siphon up thirty feet. You do not know how wells work either. In wells a pump is placed in the bottom of a well. I do have personal experience with that. I can provide links on well pumps if you wish.Unless that thirty feet or so was siphoned off as well.
God knows how to clean up His messes.
Let me ask you this.
I know you believe it was a fable, but humor me here:
When God took Adams rib out ...
Genesis 2:21b ... and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
Did He leave a scar behind, in your opinion?
If not, how about ditto for the Flood ... one of His pet projects?
In the land of spiritual make-believe, so much of what they know isn’t so. The story of Noah was based on a localized flood legend in Mesopotamia which was deliberately exaggerated by the Israelites when they converted their secular history into a miraculous fiction.False.
Common sense declares there was a worldwide flood as well as obvious evidence (s).
You are proof that religious people just make stuff up to explain the stuff that other religious people made up.That's because scientists look down -- into the earth -- for the evidence, when in actuality, the evidence was taken up.
Water flows downward ... but it is siphoned upward.
You have that backwards. It is the uneducated that rely on "common sense". The educated can explain their observations. And it appears that you are afraid to bring up any so called "evidence". The odds are that I do understand what is wrong with any claims you have that the flood happened. Meanwhile I can bring up what we should observe and do not and I know that you will not have an answer for them.I guess common sense would be a laughable claim to the uneducated and to deny the evidence (s) much less obvious would be due to misunderstanding of the observations thereof or just a flat out denial due to past or present obnoxious beliefs built upon deceit and mockery.
That is the most famous of the many lies that circulate regarding the worldwide flood as recorded in The Book of Genesis. In the land of spiritual make-believe, so much of what they know isn’t so. The story of Noah was based on a localized flood legend in Mesopotamia which was deliberately exaggerated by the Israelites when they converted their secular history into a miraculous fiction.
