Which is it? fast moving water or slow water?

Make up my mind, please?

You make up your mind. Was the water fast flowing? If it was fast flowing, then you can't get meanders. If it is a slow moving river that is needed for the meanders, then you don't get the erosion necessary for such deep canyons through solid rock.

The conditions you need for the observed canyons is a slow moving river and long time periods.

Was the water fast flowing?
Yes
If it was fast flowing, then you can't get meanders.
Guess what though?

We got meanders.

Those waters musta been following a prearranged path then, eh?

I take it you don't think God can make water flow up the side of Mt. Everest, if He wanted to?

Those streams look serpentine to me.

Genesis 3:1a Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.

I wonder if God was telling us something, eh?

Nor, are their faces on the moon, or Jesus' face in teacup.

The fact that you have to have to invoke miracles to get around the basic laws of physics is massive evidence in our favor.

Excuse me, but I don't see you meeting his challenge:
So how do you explain that feature, and other features similar around the world by using a Flood?
So let's see your explanation of that feature, and other features similar around the world by using a Flood.

Since everything is "in your favor," as you say, how about you bestow some favor on us and give us your explanation (with, of course, respect to the OP).

May be you can tell me what would happen to the following geological setting:

A 200-meter thick deposition of loose sediments, made of interlayers of sand and mud. And,
at elevation 1000 meters above the sea level. And
a small creek flows on the surface of the sediments.

How would the meander look like at the end?

Sorry, but this challenge is for flood believers to explain first. Perhaps we can discuss your situation later.

It would be at the surface, not 200 m deep into the sediment. In order to get the meanders you need a slow stream that wouldn't erode much.

Not only that, but you couldn't get the vertical cliffs seen in the pictures since the loose sediments would slump.

Hey! At least you could say "Spoiler alert".

Excuse me, but I don't see you meeting his challenge:

That's because incised gooseneck meanders should not exist if the Earth is 6k years old.

So let's see your explanation of that feature, and dother features similiar around the world by using a Flood.

A recent global flood would not produce those meanders. That's the point.

The only way that you can get deeply incised gooseneck meanders over a very short geologic period is by suspending the laws of physics. Once you start throwing facts out the window, then you can proclaim that anything is true.

They could have been carved when God ordered the water off the earth.

Genesis 8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

In other words, the waters went to a "siphoning point," where they were taken up and deposited elsewhere in the solar system (or wherever).

This is a meaningless statement and gives no explanation. Another utter failure.

Psalm 104:6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
Psalm 104:7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

(And for the record, I'm not an advocate of a young earth.)

And again, this does not explain how the features formed at all.

It didn't.

Again, the gooseneck meanders came when the waters followed a prearranged path to a "siphoning point."

Here, let me put it in the most scientific of terms possible:

God did it.

This failure is so bad on your part that it seems to border on blasphemy..

The contradiction tells us that the canyon has to be extremely old. A young Earth model cannot explain this unless you posit a dishonest God and that would seem to be blasphemy to me.
