  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone, my name is Aaron. I'm an 18 year old graduate,fresh,out of high school and looking forward to going to college. I just came by to say hi, to all you wonderful people here at christian forums. I joined this forum because I love to discuss and debate many issues,that are included but not limited too, religion and politics. I'm very civil but passionate about issues and rarely get angry at anyone. I'm a laid back, easy going guy, with many interests. If its christmas your reffering too then, yes, I do celebrate it. I see no need to abolish christmas from my life simply because I don't believe in god. To tell you the truth this coming christmas will be my first christmas as an atheist, so it will be interesting to see it in a different light than normal. However, yes, I do intend on celebrating christmas.
