I have got myself a voodoo doll today given by a non-christian relative as a christmas gift. The doll seems cute. My question is: Is there anything wrong with christians keeping it as keychain? It seems that voodoo doll has become popular as a decoration, keychain, as a gift to keep and so on...

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i would say not to keep it...even if you arent using it, it still has the implication of being the devil's work...i mean cause those type of things are considered to be satanic...its just like geting a mini version of a oiji board and putting it on a key chain!?...u know?

That doesn't look like a voodoo doll. Plus a voodoo doll isn't a voodoo doll unless it's used for voodoo. You would need some possesion of the person for which you are doing voodoo on.
