  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We have been going through a lot lately and need prayers for physical health and financial blessings. We are doing all we can, but we need help financially. And I just lost my mother, plus we have to move for new jobs (the new jobs are SUCH a blessing but moving expenses are hard to come up with). Anyway, please lift my family up in prayer. We really have no one to turn to for help financially. Thanks!

:heart: I'm so sorry about the loss of your mother. May the God of ALL Comfort minister to each of you at this time of grief and loss (in so many ways). Praying that God's provision is evident and that His timing shows in a very visible and concrete way for each of you at this very uncertain time. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen.
