Asking for prayers for my family again. Life has just been continuing to get worse for us. Constant struggle to keep afloat and even health wise. Having to move again, scrounge up spare money for the car and food and so much more. I’m tired of living with the feeling of being unable to breathe.

I pray that you can get the help that you need, from fellow Christians. Remember, your signature in your profile has Philippians in it, 4:13 to be precise. God will strengthen you, through the help of his Body of Christ (the church).

DateMay 5, 2024
VersePhilippians 4:10-14 (ESV): "I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble."
ExplanationPhilippians 4:10-14 is a passage from the New Testament book of Philippians, penned by the apostle Paul. In this passage, Paul expresses his joy and gratitude towards the church in Philippi for their concern and support, despite not having an opportunity to express it previously. He goes on to share that he has learned to be content in any situation, whether in abundance or need. He emphasizes his ability to face hardships and to "do all things through him who strengthens me," which is a reference to his faith in Christ.

This passage relates to easing the burdens of one another as it highlights the importance of compassion, concern, and support for one another, particularly in times of strife or hardship. Paul's words remind us that even when we may not be able to physically alleviate someone's burdens, we can still offer emotional and spiritual support. This can go a long way in helping to ease the emotional weight that someone may be carrying.

Thank you. I wish I had a church family to rely on but we don’t. So I don’t see us getting any help.

You're welcome. Are there any nearby churches? A lot of churches have lost the meaning of "giving", and no longer help the poor sadly.

Many churches, my own included, have discretionary funds to aid persons in need regardless of whether they attend there. It never hurts to ask. Help could be right up the street. In the meantime, my prayers for you and your family. May you have enough.

I don’t have a direct church family and my schedule wouldn’t allow me time to talk to anyone.
