My encounter with an Angel? or Demon?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

God sends angels to minister to those who are or who will be saved.
What you may also wonder is, would God choose to send a fallen angel to minister to people whom He will save.

God did send lying spirits (fallen angels) in the OT to certain people.

1 Kings 22:21-23New King James Version (NKJV)
21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, and said, ‘I will persuade him.’ 22 The Lord said to him, ‘In what way?’ So he said, ‘I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And the Lord said, ‘You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.’ 23 Therefore look! The Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these prophets of yours, and the Lord has declared disaster against you.”
Satan is also a lying spirit .

In a way, God also sent Satan to Job allowing Satan to minister bad things to Job and the purpose was to show to the angelic realm ( and his not so wonderful friends) Job would still glory only in God and not all his abundant worldly possessions.

Job 1
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”

So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

What the angels could not effectively do because they never walked in our humanity, never having suffered in the flesh, GOD did by sending HIS SON who came in the likeness of flesh because the children are of flesh and suffered in all things for us so as to become for us the ONE AND ONLY SOURCE OF OUR GREAT SALVATION

I dont know if this was real or not, if it was an angel and/or demon or not. But I would say there are some things I do know that are relevant. After a head trauma it is possible to have very vivid "real" memories that are not real. People are often sure things are real even though there have been witnesses who have confirmed that things they "know" they experienced could not have happened as they were unconscious or in hospital or something like that. There are also accounts that angels faces shine with the glory of God from being in his presence, this does not sound like your description.

I believe angels, fallen angels, and demons are all real entities and that the fallen angels and demons both, being enemies of God, use deception of all types to turn people in any direction that will lead them away from the truth of the saving grace available to them in the Biblical Jesus the Christ only.

So, yes, she definitely needs to turn to prayer and reading of the scriptures... which not only give us knowledge of our Lord and Saviour but also information and advice about spiritual warfare against His enemies (and, thus, enemies of all Christians).

There are some experiences that we cannot explain. If there was a simple interpretation or explanation to what happened to you, then it would have been made clear to you. So, trying to find the answer to it will just lead you into more confusion. I remember when I was a 10 year old, I used to be terrorised by what I saw were terrible monsters coming into my bedroom. I don't know whether they were real or whether I was dreaming. I remember one night, a figure in dazzling white came into my room and I never saw those monsters again. I don't know whether it was Jesus or not, but it was a significant factor in me believing in Him and finally accepting Him as Saviour at the age of 19. Three years later, I was prayed for to be set free from something from my past life, and I saw that dazzling white figure again. The next thing I knew was that I was face down on the floor crying my eyes out. My life dramatically changed after that, and God revealed Himself to me when I went into the middle of a park and introduced myself to Him.

If your experience caused you to commit yourself to Jesus as your Saviour, then there is some reason for it that only God knows and maybe you will find out about it when you meet up with Jesus in glory.

I wouldn't give too much credibility to those who try to interpret your experience to you - either to say that it was of God or not of God. Just leave it with Him and obey the Scripture about forgetting the past and pushing forward into what God has for you now and in the future.

I remember at the age of 14 I had a vision of JESUS and I turned away. I didn't understand where HE fit in my relationship with GOD. Sure I had been taught THE Gospel but I didn't understand it

It wasn't until 25 years later, at the age of 39, when I heard HIS VOICE that the TRUTH of THE GOSPEL was fully revealed to me

And thst was when I understood and knew

I think back and wonder why HE gave me a vision of HIM but did not reveal HIMSELF until 25 years later

All I knew was that I couldn't figure it out and the MESSAGE of the CROSS made no sense to me

But, when my life slowed down , at home in the quiet of my house on maternity leave, I heard HIS VOICE and everything was revealed to me

It was in that moment that everything that I could not understand was fully and immediately understood

And I was brought to my knees from the knee-buckling/heart rending TRUTH of how much all were in a need of savior!

And from that point forward I haven't stopped talking!!!!

But it's HIM (by HIS SPIRIT and not angels) that HE opens the eyes and ears of our heart to THE TRUTH of HIS WORD
