My dreams are filled with demons...

I keep having dreams where I'm casting out demons. Pretty consistently. Sometimes there is just one person and sometimes there are many. Once, I cast out a demon that had latched onto a particular place.

My question for you is: Why?

I can't answer why, but I can tell you that I have had dreams like this before, only one in particular that stands out in my mind. It was in the future, perhaps twenty or thirty years from now, and I had dark black hair and a full beard (was rather interesting because right now I'm fourteen and have dark brown hair and can't even grow a mustache). Anyhow, I cast demons out of several people and could actually see the demons when they emerged, and they would run from me. I think that that dream had something to do with the End Times, as my mother told me that when I was born God told her I would be a leader during the Tribulation. I think the only one who can answer the why is God, so pray if you haven't been already, and if you have, continue to pray.

Pray to God and ask for interpretation of the vision.
Do you think it's odd or silly?
Perhaps the Holy Spirit is trying to show you where your gift is, and encouraging you to use it instead of shying away from it.

I went through that a few years ago. At the time, I was taking on everything myself and giving nothing to the Lord to handle.

There may be something going on in your life that God wants you to turn over to Him. God wants us to live surrendered lives to Him, yet, from habit, we try to deal with troubles or problems while allowing Him very little input. Surrender whatever it is to the Lord. To surrender is proof of your faith in God's ability to take charge of the situation and turn it toward victory.

Repent (for not truly trusting Him) then talk out the situation with God. Let Him have it totally, then give thanks in your reverence to Him for bearing whatever it may be. Now whenever you talk about whatever real-life struggles you face, talk about it in terms that the Lord has it and will handle it. That He's in full control and will work it out.

Once you have demonstrated your faith in God's ability to handle whatever is causing your demon-dream battles, you will find that the they will deminish to nil.

It's not an uncommon dream. I myself have had this type of dream repeatedly. My version is a bit different though. I'm not casting them out of people I am facing demons in thier natural form. Every kind of horrible monster imaginable. I always have a samurai sword in these types of dreams(why I don't know), I face them without fear, and I fight them as best I can. There are so many I can never win no matter how many I put down.

I see it as a representation of a struggle between good and evil. One that will never end so long as the current earth exist.

I believe the reason I fight them myself is I feel the opposite of what TheGuide said. I have trouble with the predestined issue. If things are truly predestined then all the prayer and faith can't save you from troubles in this world. All you can do is rely on yourself press on as best you can.

Of course that is my own personal delima that I am working on so try not to take it to seriously.
