Then correct it.

Tell me how a person goes from Christian to atheist.

Better yet, tell me how a person starts out in the Spirit and is then made complete in the flesh.

I dont care for the bible and have never been a beliver and I dont care either way. I also dont belive in metaphysics.

Then perhaps that's why it's "incoherent babble" to you.

You never experienced going from Christian to atheist.

Is everything you don't experience "incoherent babble" and "misuse of the Bible" to you?

Good for you.

Did your educator(s) teach you the Bible is an "ancient text"?

If so, they don't know what this means, do they?

Hebrews 4:12a For the word of God is quick,

That means It is as up-to-date as tomorrow's newspaper.

I don belive in god(s).

The bible is nothing special, its just a collection of religious texts collected by commitee.

I'll ask again:

Did your educator(s) teach you that?

@AV1611VET , Just checking - did you miss my post?
Hi back!

Okay, so God creates hedgehogs in Genesis 1, all having the same DNA.

Then, when He creates echidnas, He creates echidnas with almost exactly the same niche role as hedgehogs right down to being startlingly similar in look and feel, yet a huge percentage of their genomes are different.

After all, His goal is to create man in His image & likeness and from the hedgehog and echidna example, could've made DNA of Man totally unique in concordance with this objective, yet it looks nearly identical to the other great apes as if we shared a recent common ancestor.

Show how this is not deceptive.

I'm not humble as much as I am a completely spineless coward that torments themselves every night with thoughts about their own mortality. Nothing more humbling though than being an insignificant, transient speck on a water covered rock that has no ultimate purpose, though, so I highly doubt that most atheists have pride issues.

I hear you Sister! I feel the same way. I suspect that our ultimate purpose on earth (if we hadn't fallen) was to...raise many children to be godly.

How come that deity still talks to you even though you are wearing clothes of mixed fibers right now?

I *think* because I seek Him and fear Him. And seek to be led of the Spirit more and more.
Clothes of different fibers? You must be referencing the OT ordinances to wear only clothes of no mixed fibers I think. The way the NT reads to me is that we were released from all of those OT laws, except the 10 commandments of course. Just like we can eat pretty much anything we want to now for He declared them clean to us.

You have the money story, but aside from that, you haven't said anything I haven't heard before. You are definitely very polite about it, though, which I appreciate.

As are you, thank you.
I got my computer up and running again! I had to move in with my dad because he needs care and wants to pass at home. So I'm here for the duration. I may be a little slow in responding at times depending on how things go here, and so forth. But I am up for your evolutionary challenge thing, so maybe sort of outline it for me and tell me again what it was that you wanted me to dig up for you. Something about Chuck Missler I remember...I should be able to do that now.

You're talking over my head with this, so I ignored it.

I'm assuming you're parodying my OP for some reason, only with a point I don't understand.

So I'll just assume my challenge is too hard for you, and your challenge is too hard for me, and we'll call it a tie -- how's that? :)

:D lol! I Exactly Wasn't talking over your head - I couched it in your own terms so you had the best opportunity to relate to my post. I don't mind your admission of defeat but I am curious to know why (if we were all specially created) we share so much DNA with the other great apes when it demonstrably doesn't have to be that way. If he can do such a thing with hedgehogs and echidnas (i.e. make them as biologically unique as they are), then of all the living creatures on this planet, surely if we were special, we would be at least equally different to great apes as echidnas and hedgehogs are from each other? That would certainly speak to our uniqueness had he done this.... so why didn't he save all this confusion? Didn't he know that we would eventually find out about DNA and genetics?

I've addressed this before, but I'll do it again.

1. God made us in His image & likeness. If you think He should have created us to share less DNA than the other [sic] great apes, then we wouldn't be in His image & likeness.

2. Ontological reduction also answers this enigma of yours. Same working parts (DNA) placed in different kinds.

3. I don't think God made us to -- in evolutionist terms -- look like apes. If anything, He made apes to look like us.

4. Remember: Even Solomon was intrigued by apes and even had them imported.

1 Kings 10:22 For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

His conclusion?

Ecclesiastes 7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Notice he calls evolution an "invention" -- not a "discovery"?

1. God made us in His image & likeness. If you think He should have created us to share less DNA than the other [sic] great apes, then we wouldn't be in His image & likeness.
Again, if you knew how DNA worked then you wouldn't say this, we could literally have 100% different DNA and still be functionally identical to another organism that looked and acted identical. Only Evolution forces a constraint on how similar DNA is to other forms of life, so this doesn't wash.

If God did create life separately, then we could be at least as different as my echidna/hedgehog example, but we're not.
2. Ontological reduction also answers this enigma of yours. Same working parts (DNA) placed in different kinds.
As I explained above, it is entirely possible to have 100% different DNA and still achieve the same effect, so this point is moot.
3. I don't think God made us to -- in evolutionist terms -- look like apes. If anything, He made apes to look like us.
As in my echidna/hedgehog example, we can look the same, yet have completely different DNA, but we don't.
4. Remember: Even Solomon was intrigued by apes and even had them imported.

1 Kings 10:22 For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

point being....? People are wrong all the time, not sure what you mean by this.

So, in light of the evidence, I have to say if your God is real, and he created us specially and independently, he's intentionally misleading us to think Evolution is real.

Oh yeah, I want a text source that details his views to review, since doing it with videos is extra time consuming and makes me more prone to errors.

Sad thing about that is how bad it would get if any organism could continue to breed and death didn't apply to the entire population.

Except Jesus explicitly states in the NT that he is NOT removing or changing any of the old laws.
