Yes, and here's what probably happened to them:

STEP 1: They began embracing evolution.
STEP 2: They began considering themselves Homo sapiens (wise man).
STEP 3: They fell victim to Paul's warning in Romans 1:22.

If any of them here are like that, I'd like to see them deny this and tell me how they're somehow an exception to this warning.

Sure, I figure most of them used to be theists. They probably had something happen and got angry at God about it, so became atheists.

Defense? I give my personal testimonies of what God has done for me and which has proven to me that He is real and does help...He...has His own way of doing things I have learned. I convey what He has shown me and, it's possible that many atheists are not aware of some of those things?

Like in the OT, God dealt with the Israelites in a if this, then that type of deals. If they will humble themselves and obey, then I will bless them as my people...but if they do not, then I will not bless them and even perhaps curse them. SO it's all give and take.

Salvation is a free gift, but to have God interact with you more and bless you...then He wants to see us obey and to actually do what He says.

I believe a lot of what HE created was just because He could do it.
I am not sure who HE would be "showing off" to as He has no peers to impress.

Of course, if a woman got pregnant just because she could, we'd have second thoughts about her mental stability. But when God does it, it's all good...

That's not usually how it goes. Most of the atheists here, be they former theists or not, are not angry at any gods. It's a stupid waste of time to be angry at something you don't believe exists anyways.

You have the money story, but aside from that, you haven't said anything I haven't heard before. You are definitely very polite about it, though, which I appreciate.

I'm not humble as much as I am a completely spineless coward that torments themselves every night with thoughts about their own mortality. Nothing more humbling though than being an insignificant, transient speck on a water covered rock that has no ultimate purpose, though, so I highly doubt that most atheists have pride issues.

An atheist would never selectively notice or focus upon evidence which tends to support the things they already believe or want to be true while ignoring that evidence which would serve to disconfirm those beliefs or ideas.

Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Let's apply this to my point:

2. Fact- humans are homo sapiens (and apes).
