It never applies. It is always a logical fallacy. My post had nothing to do with the existence or nonexistence of a God.

Some believers do make the error of thinking that if their personal version of God is refuted that that is a refutation of God. I can assure you that that is never the case. It only means that at worse that oone was believing in an incorrect version of God.

There is a problem however this line is highly concentrated in the metal iridium in far greater concentrations than is ordinarily found on Earth.
How were these artists able to accomplish this?
The iridium is from an extraterrestrial source and played a role in the extinction of the dinosaurs.
