We can look at the exact situation with sex slavery and Isis today in Yazidi. The issue is that at times there can be a stockholm syndrome. When you go to rescue the girls they many not want to be rescued. This complicates the issues. This is the point I was making is that sex slavery is more complex than people would lead us to believe. This was the case at times in the South before the war. There were sex slaves that they called fancy girls that felt more like a wife then a slave. Until their husband decided to sell them. It was actually the white women who protested and did not want the black women to have the status of a wife. Look at the situation with Patricia Hurst where they even question if she was really kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army. They sentenced her to jail. that was commuted by President Jimmy Carter, and she was pardoned by President Bill Clinton. That would be a false dichotomy today. In fact it has been a false dichotomy for quite some time.
