I wouldn't call miracles "unreliable."

They served their purposes quite effectively, and will continue to do so.A miracle trumps science any day of the week.

In fact, if it didn't, it wouldn't be a miracle.

Let's put this in a real world perspective...

A doctor tells you that you have a serious illness, and it could be fatal without treatment.

The Bible tells you that if you have faith, then whatever you pray for you will get (see Mark 11:24 et al). But the doctor tells you that there is a treatment that has a 90-% success rate.

Now, if you can only choose one of these options, which one will you choose? Will you go with what the Bible says and pray for healing while foregoing medical technology? Or will you reject the Bible's claim that you'll get whatever you pray for and go with science instead?

There you go: trying hard not to understand.

No third option?

You know ... like when Jesus told us that those who are sick need a physician?

Okay, I'll humor you, since you only gave me two options.

I'd choose to go with what the Bible says and pray for healing while foregoing medical technology.

And where you came up with this is anyone's guess but yours.

So anyway, I chose Door Number One -- and died.

Let's hear your point.

From Daft Punk to something more serious.
While the electroweak force was confirmed in 1983, the effects of the electroweak force through the neutral Z⁰ boson was photographed in 1973 in a bubble chamber.

Weak neutral current interactions are one of the ways in which subatomic particles can interact by means of the weak force. These interactions are mediated by the Z boson. The discovery of weak neutral currents was a significant step toward the unification of electromagnetism and the weak force into the electroweak force, and led to the discovery of the W and Z bosons.

If you choose the Bible and it kills you, then it would seem you made the incorrect choice.

Unless you wanted to die.

If you choose the Bible and it kills you,
Again, if I choose the Bible, Jesus said they that are sick NEED A PHYSICIAN.

So if It kills me, it's my fault.

It, more often than not, requires a physician to tell you you're sick!
He can't tell me anything, if I don't go to him.

Something Kylie evidently cannot understand.

Again, if I choose the Bible, Jesus said they that are sick NEED A PHYSICIAN.

So if It kills me, it's my fault.

James 5:14-15.
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

The Bible says that if you are sick, call for the elders of the church and they will anoint you with oil and pray for you, and that prayer will save you.

Perhaps you are referring to when Jesus said, "Those who are well don't need a doctor, but the sick do," or words to that effect. But wasn't Jesus saying that as a metaphor for why he had come? He wasn't actually giving medical advice.

Mark 2:17
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

James 5:14-15.
Don't forget shadow healing too.

Acts 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

You do know that these apostolic miracles ended with the death of the Apostles, do you not?

Why was it Paul, who could heal by the laying on of hands ...

Acts 28:8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

... later on, had to ...

2 Timothy 4:20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.

Not seeing a doctor for checkups frequently leads to undiagnosed illnesses progressing which sometimes leads to preventable death. I thought such disrespect and disregard for one's body, was a Sin?
Y'know .. like rejecting vaccines during a life-threatening pandemic ..(?)

That what you said here is wrong.
The teacher that teaches that we come from Adam will have failed in both aspects. Planted wrong facts in the students head and will have insisted that authority trumps research. Worth, if fiiting the mold of the conservative christians as explained in different papers linked above, he will have planted a distrust in science, an anti-research attitude.
He will has stumped a possible career and deprived the nation of a functional brain.

wrong?
Take the first one for example: antiseptic surgery.

This is what you seem to be saying:

Joseph Lister: Boy! My teacher has planted a distrust in science in me; and I distrust science to the core! It can all take a hike. Especially research!

Joseph Lister's career has now been stumped, and the nation has been deprived of a functional brain.

YET, years later, Joseph Lister develops antiseptic surgery.

How'd that happen?

For what reason do you pretend that Lister's teachers did plant a distrust in science? Where you there?
And can you expand that to you entire list?
