My Dad.

Hi All...
So I come to you tired, emotional, and stressed to the max... and I come to you asking for prayer.

On Sunday the 8th my Dad was out and collapsed at the pharmacy. Someone thank God found him & called the EMS. He's been at the hospital ever since. Tomorrow will be one full week.

After some investigating, it turns out he had a heart attack sometime in the 2 weeks prior to his collapsing on the 8th.

It was a pretty big one and left a lot of damage. They want to do a heart cath soon to look for any blockages and whatnot.

He has had heart issues for awhile now, and was diagnosed with aortic stenosis. He kept putting things off and it just kept getting worse.

It is really touch & go right now. He is very weak. He is talking and is out of ICU, but we are no where near being out of the woods.

Please keep him & my mom and I in your prayers. He needs all he can get.

Today if my dad can lay flat, they are going to do the heart cath. Last night he told my mom that they are training 13oz of fluid per hour off of him, so I hope this works.

He says best case scenario he just will get some stints.. Not sure what worst case is.

He also will go to Baptist Hospital & get aortic valve operation.

Father God, I don't know this family. But you do. I don't know the pain and the fear, but you know it and understand it. I ask that you would be with Carolina, her father, and her family. This comes as no surprise to you. You knew about this day even before they came into existence. While we may want to ask why, instead we lean into you. We ask you for strength, for peace. We ask you for comfort. When we don't even know what to say, or how to pray, when the pain is too great, we look to you. So Father, I just ask that you would show them you in this. Let them know, without a doubt, that you are there. You are our healer, and in you all things can be made whole. We praise you Lord for what you will do, and how you will work it together for good. I pray all these things in your powerful name, Amen.
