Update on Dad:

I talked to my brother around 9:30am, Dad had the heart cath at 8:30am and my brother said the dr said "it doesn't look good" and they're not really sure what to do next/what course of action should be taken. But they think it may have to be open heart surgery...

Update:
Dad has clogged arteries (95%) and needs a valve replacement. He was moved today to another hospital that has an intensive care rehab place for after the surgery which will take place either Thurs or Fri.

After that he will be in recovery then rehab for awhile. It's a long road ahead but I don't feel as broken as I did before... I see hope now.. and I'm basking in it.

Thank you for ALL of your prayers! Keep them coming, we're not out yet.

I'm so sorry to have not updated this in so long, but unfortunately I come with heart breaking news.

My dad passed away last night. We are all in shock and just in a total daze... I'm heart broken and just so sad. I loved him so much.

Please keep us all in your prayers...

Oh, Jennie. I m sorry to hear this. I hope your heart is healed in due time, and everyone else's in your family who loved your father. But remember that at the resurrection day you shall see him again, however near or far into the future that may be, and then you will never be separated from him again.

I don't think any of us can lessen your sorrow and pain by anything we write in this thread... The sorrow we feel when someone we love dearly passes away, is real and intense, but God has promised to be near to the broken hearted.
