  1. I have once been on the other side of the boat. Seeking God in the midst of a perverse and adulterous generation was a hard task. Where to turn, who to believe, what to take to heart and what to practice in my life. The time when one is alone seeking is not that difficult more than when a person comes into the doctrinal lines of thought. One person says this doctrine is correct and another says another doctrine is correct, both people belonging to the God that I or anyone else wants to serve and follow. So the new person sits and listens to see what the truth of the matter may be. The learned men teach and preach. The lay people sit and listen. But when I left the seat of the 'school' and after entering in another place of worship, same God, I left more confused than edified or encouraged. With so many lines and paths of walking as a God follower, and with so many different opinions as to what is and what is not acceptable, it leaves those who do not go to seminary nor any theological establishment to wonder if this whole 'life with God' thing is even real. If there are seekers in this world with this kind of dealings in everyday life, then I can be understood. That is only if there are seekers. Do people have the right to throw in the towel and 'let go and let God?' Do people leave faith because there is no sound teaching when compared to and with others who have the same faith? How many arguments have been argued over what God Jesus told His Apostles and disciples? How many broken relationships have occurred because a scriptural verse was defended in the lines of how it was taught? How many people have been afraid to approach Christ through His Ambassadors because of fear of receiving something they are unsure of. So in other words, I don't blame non believers for believing that it can be a little too rough and rocky to be God at all. Sure world events and downfalls will happen, since the time of any civilization there has been a down trodding of nations. Nothing new there. Alexander the Great, Napolean, any and every other Leader of their time has been but now is gone. So now we are here seeking God, the One that can save us. Who to believe, what to believe, how to believe, how to act, how to live, what to eat, what to wear, where to work, what to do.... ..etc... This is just a rough sloppy draft of what I feel sometimes, even to my own Faith. I'm sorry if this offends anyone.
