  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It was Bugs Bunny in Looney Tunes to made the name Nimrod switch from meaning someone who was a mighty hunter to a comic figure.
So, that's why I asked: "... Bugs Bunny is a muse now?"

Gravity and God have both a similarity and a difference;

One is a warp in the spacetime continuum. The other is a warp in objective, analytical thinking.

1. What scientific principle do God and gravity have in common? ...
Easy answers: None and none.
God is a supernatural being that can do anything God wants.
Gravity is a natural force that is observed to consistently do certain things. Gravity has no wants.

Actually there is a scientific principle that deals with detecting both God and gravity.
That became a wrong statement as soon as you wrote scientific principle.
Science does not include supernatural beings with no physical evidence that they exist and that can do anything that they want.

I find it interesting that in this day and age, there are still people who believe in gravity. What we used to think was gravity is dark matter pressing in on us. The vacuum of space repels it and it becomes attracted to objects with mass. The more mass the more dark matter pressure.

The science behind it is very complicated so please don't ask for any more details or references...you can just Google them yourself. :)
