My brother and SIL need our prayers!

Remember how I told y'all about my brother and SIL who had been trying to conceive but couldn't but then found out they were pregnant with twins?

Well...

Today my brother called me and told me that in one fell swoop they would have more kids than we would. I didn't understand at first, but then it dawned on me. They're having TRIPLETS!!!!!!!

My brother is in shock right now. He wanted three kids, max. And he's kinda "worried" that all three will be girls. He wants his boy as bad as I want my girl!

So anyway, they need our prayers because they're a little bowed over by it all, and a little overwhelmed. SIL will need to see an at-risk pregnancy doctor and will more than likely deliver 8-10 weeks early. The triplets will most likely need to be in an incubator and they are both very scared about the implications of all of this.

Thanks everyone. I'm sure it will mean a lot to them.

They need to not worry about what MIGHT happen and trust His will. Had I known there was the slightest hint of having all the emergency issues I did delivering my daughter, I'd have made myself sick.

God will bring them through it no matter what the docs predict. They don't know everything.

One of my brothers wanted a boy, they kept having girls, after the 4th girl, well actually 5, they lost their first girl during delivery, they decided to give up trying.

Awesome!!! Hopefully they have a lot of helpers nearby once the babies are born because they'll need them!

Praying that God brings them the same type of serenity I had during my pregnancy! He took my worries away one night, so I pray He does the same for them!

Well, they'll have Matt and I around to help out some - we're 20 minutes away from them. My parents live an hour and half away but they practically live between my house and my brother's house, so they'll be around a lot.

After the first of the year, my brother was contemplating moving back to the Lansing area (where my folks are at) as he has started a job with a company that's located in Jackson. Right now he's commuting two hours one way, and that just isn't going to be able to continue. Now with the triplets, they may put that move off, or do it sooner. My sister is looking forward to a promotion that would put her back to work in Lansing rather than Detroit, but of course with the triplets she may not go back to work after they are born.

It's all very up in the air, but thankfully they will always have a supportive family, and they are both very strong Lutheran Christians so that will help out tremendously.
