I had a great time with them at the fishing derby last weekend. I forgot how much I loved being a dad. I hope they continue to go down the right path and not follow my horrible example. Don't know why but just wanted to say I love them.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My friend has two sons...and I wonder what they would give to have a dad involved in their life like you have with your sons.

Thank you. I got to hang out with them for the 4th and we had fun. I hope I will continue being able to see them this much now that my wife is gone.

Praise be to God that you have remained receptive to the Holy Spirit's leading to remain as Dad to your boys. God will surely bless you and your boys for your commitment to them. My sincerest prayer is that you and your wife remain open to the Holy Spirit's leading in regards to His Healing Grace for your marriage. I am bold here because my children have suffered immensely due to the absence of their Dad.
