A stern voice would get the "bad baby" vibe across without resorting to using teeth.

I just have to say that what works for one child, may not work for another. I think that's great that it worked for your children but all children are different. I did what worked. The stern voice and the swat on the bottom just weren't cutting it with my son. So, I had to go another route - doesn't make me wrong - I'm the oldest of four children and my parents had to discipline us all differently b/c what may have worked on my brother didn't work on me and vice versa...............

I still think that God knows best. And I have seen in the Bible where parents are told to use the rod but I still haven't seen where it says that we are to use our teeth.
And you are right, what works for one child may not work for another but I still think discipline should be meted out according to God's word.

Believe it or not, I do what I believe in my heart is right and I ask for God's guidance - We'll never agree but I guess this post just disturbed me b/c unless someone is abusing their child, I see nothing wrong with trying different methods if it works. If Jesus, the pope - whoever were standing right there when it happened - I would have done the same thing.
