Colter, you said there were, on the Ark:

  • 7,800,000 species of animal
  • 298,000 species of plant
  • 611,000 species of mushrooms, mold, and other fungi
  • 36,400 species of protozoa, single-celled organisms
  • 27,500 species of algae or chromists
I am asking you if you're willing to pare this down to a much smaller number by considering that genera boarded the Ark, not species.

Are you willing to do that? or are you willing to try to make the Ark look overloaded?

Note: Your figures don't matter to me, since my interpretation of what the Ark was can easily handle that many. But your unwillingness to admit your interpretation is wrong is telling. I don't think even HitchSlap believes that many animals were on the Ark. The Bible says "kinds" entered the Ark, not "species."

Your self deception of what was on the Israelites ark is your typical greased watermelon. The evolution from genera occurred much earlier than the ark timeline so your rationalization just makes everyone feel stupid for even having engaged in a discussion like this.

What "Israelite ark"?

Noah wasn't an Israelite.

I have no idea what you mean by "evolution from genera."

Genera is the same thing as "kinds" in Genesis.

Are you willing to admit you were wrong about all those millions of things that were on the Ark?

If not, it's no big deal.

The Israelites invented the ark in Babylon for a stupid audience who were afraid not to believe it.

You pretend to have no idea, the branches of mammals happened long before the fictitious ark timeline.

They drown the Canaanites but ran into them again^_^^_^^_^
Mamma mia.

Wikipedia said:
Canaan was a Semitic-speaking region in the Ancient Near East during the late 2nd millennium BC.
Wikipedia said:
The 2nd millennium BC spanned the years 2000 through 1001 BC.
The Flood was 2348 BC.

That gives 348 years for the Canaanites … who, by the way, were from Ham, not Shem … to be born and occupy the Promised Land.

I'll say one thing:

That's one thing Urantia has in common with academia -- the Ark was made up.

But all that aside, you were the one who populated the Ark with millions and millions of plants and animals at the species level.

I'm calling you out on it.

Do you want to address it, or do you want to continue with your anti-Semite academics?

In which case I'm done.

(And you can't even get that right.)

This isn't even a sentence.

(I know. You're probably on a cell phone or some voice thing. Just like spell-checker embarrassed another poster yesterday.)

I'm calling you out on your attempt claim that everything alive today on the earth came from a dozen or so kinds on a gofer wood boat captained by a wineo.

dodge ball again! God has never regretted his creative work, destroyed it only to have it all screww up again! The flood story is quite human.

Dozen or so!?

LOL

I'm trying as hard as I can to get you to tell me how many; and all you want to do is talk about everything else BUT how many!

How many genera represent all those things you said boarded the Ark?

Can you answer it or not?

You were willing to be pretty specific in telling me how many species.

Now tell me how many genera.

Or do you even understand what I'm asking?

God has never regretted his creative work,
That's right.

At the nuclear level, we call that the First Law of Thermodynamics.

And even at the end of time, when God destroys the physical universe as we know it, He is going to make a New Earth out of what He created in Genesis 1.

You do know Jesus was in the audience you're referring to: Matthew 24:37-39; Luke 17:26-27

From what I can determine there are 500,000 species and millions of variations. So Noah had millions of living things on his boat in addition to a bottle stashed somewhere.

I don’t know where he fit the massive fresh water tanks to fit all the fresh water species.
