I am asking you if you're willing to pare this down to a much smaller number by considering that genera boarded the Ark, not species.

Are you willing to do that? or are you willing to try to make the Ark look overloaded?

Note: Your figures don't matter to me, since my interpretation of what the Ark was can easily handle that many. But your unwillingness to admit your interpretation is wrong is telling. I don't think even HitchSlap believes that many animals were on the Ark. The Bible says "kinds" entered the Ark, not "species."

Your self deception of what was on the Israelites ark is your typical greased watermelon. The evolution from genera occurred much earlier than the ark timeline so your rationalization just makes everyone feel stupid for even having engaged in a discussion like this.

Canaan was a Semitic-speaking region in the Ancient Near East during the late 2nd millennium BC.

The 2nd millennium BC spanned the years 2000 through 1001 BC.

The Flood was 2348 BC.

That gives 348 years for the Canaanites … who, by the way, were from Ham, not Shem … to be born and occupy the Promised Land.

From what I can determine there are 500,000 species and millions of variations. So Noah had millions of living things on his boat in addition to a bottle stashed somewhere.

I don’t know where he fit the massive fresh water tanks to fit all the fresh water species.
