My Aquarium

The things i learned about GOD from my aquarium.
I buyed the aquarium then i put in sand and stones then i filled it with water and i put a light blub and a water filter and some water plants.Then i buyed 8 fish.
And i looked at my aqurium and i was happy.
And i looked at my fish and i loved them
And i sayd to them
Live here and be happy !
But then some of the fish started to fight and harras other fish there was food and space for all of them.
And the other fish were just wandering around not doing harm to anythign at all.But the mean fish were just poking all that came in there sight and harrasing the other fish.
So i become upset with the mean fish.I asked myself why are they mean ? Didn't i give them this wonderful aquarium and food and all they need to live and be happy ? So i took the mean fish out from my aquarium and separated them.

What is my point ?

Don't i know how many fishes are in my aquarium ?
And don't i know what each of them is doing ?
Don't i know how many stones are there ?
Or how much sand and plants and water i put in ?
Don't i know how much food my fish need ?
Or don't i know what they need to be happy ?
Can i not turn the light on/off for these fish whenever i want ?
Can't i take the water from them whenever i want ?
Can't i not feed them ?
Or can't i stop the water pump whenever i want ?
Can't i remove the stones and water plants whenever i want ?

Why can i do all that ? Becaouse i have the power to!

So why anyone doubts all that GOD has done and can do ?

So god is not very omniscient, that explains a lot.

I think I still like my high school lab excercise as an understanding.

I think he is saying that god set things in motion and can act at his whim but does not know how things will work out. Interesting middle ground philosophy.

Hint: When the majority of your audience doesn't get the point, it's time to rethink whether or not you did a good job of illustrating it. Also, constructing your sentences properly may help.

It sounds like you're saying that your ownership of the aquarium gives you the right to do whatever you want to its inhabitants, including slowly killing them by starvation or suffocation. I don't think this line of reasoning would make you a very responsible pet owner or god.

In any event, this doesn't seem to have much relevance to the creation/evolution debate.

You are assuming god belief here. Being as I do not believe in god, I have no reason to accept his supposed power as real. Its just as ficitional as the being itself.

Argument from parable may work for religion, but when you are trying to demonstrate the veracity of the religion, it fails utterly. Evidence is what is required, not stories.

Anyway o-o here is the point.
If you had read the Bible you would get it long ago

If i can make this aquarium in 2 days as being a human why can't God make all that exists in 7 ?
If i can see what all my fish are doing being a human
why can't God know what you think and what's in your heart and what you are doing ?
If i can give food to my fish and take care of them
why can't God do so ?
If i know how much sand and stones are in my aquarium
then why do you doubt that God has created all that exists and He placed it and manages it by His will ?
If i placed the water pump on the right side of my aquarium with the intention to make the water spin so i can have a circulation
then why can't God place His winds to blow from here to there and why can't He make the water in the oceans move from here to there ?
If i can place a light blub for my fish and turn it on and off whenever i want
then why can't God do zillion times more ?

This was my point in general o-o

Well, apparently you failed to properly research species compatability and tank requirement for them. Let that be a lesson to everyone else if you're setting up an aquarium. Research, research, research.

That, and don't overstock. Bad for the fish.

After i separeted the mean fish for 2 days from the aquarium and then returned them they were not mean anymore and still arent another point here

I'm sure a God could have done it. He could have made it all out of cotton candy if he wanted to. But I don't believe in God, no matter how powerful the character is, he's no more real to me then Goku. Goku could destroy a planet, that does not mean that I will assume that it was his doing if an astronomer finds the ruins of a destroyed planet.

Don't you know that any responsible pet owner would have put a couple of the good fish in a small fishbowl and then empty out the aquarium with all the bad fishies, then put the good fish back?

I don't know, it seems that he can not see much more than you as the owner of the aquarium.

Considering Bosnia and Afghanistan not to mention your neighbor Ceaucescu (sp) to name but a few, I do not see your god as much more competent in his management of his charges than you are in your management of your fish.

If the argument is that it is because he gave us free will, then we will do what we will do and he has abandoned us it appears. I think that maybe you should check this out as it seems to me a better understanding of how god operates than many others.

Also, one can learn about something without believing in it.
